My wishes don't go as far as wanting to own a poster for the gigs I will hopefully attend this fall but a Poster for the whole european tour would be very nice!
It would also be nice to get a poster option when buying tickets for shows thru 10c.( i usually get shut out at the shows) but i guess thats asking too much -however-- i am grateful for the tickets & everything else you do for us-
thanks 10C .!
I love the idea of being able to order posters through 10C at the time of tix purchase. I stopped buying posters at shows because the majority of them get ruined and they are always out of stock after the shows. How about just changing the policy to sell the posters after the shows, not before? It's never made sense to me to make someone lay out the cash for a poster that will most likely be stomped, spilled beer on, pissed on, puked on, etc etc.

But three, with a new song's measure
Can crumble an Empire down.

I'm sure the venues themselves would have a problem with that idea. They usually want people to leave as soon as possible.
I still like the idea of ordering it through 10C with your tickets, and have it come in the mail.
Kind of like what ticketmaster did recently with the CD.
If you want a poster, check the box before check-out.
Then they could print exactly enough for those who pre-ordered it. Less hassle at the show in finding one/protecting it.

Where do you need (and when) to be at the venues to buy the concert posters? I end up paying exhorbiatant amounts of money on ebay to get posters for the shows I went to.

Typically http://www.bigpopposters.com has been selling them in advance, but you don't actually get to see what the poster looks like until the show. It would appear that things are being handled a little bit differently this time around.
If you want to get a poster at the show, my advice is to get there before the doors open, but be prepared to wait around with everyone else who's doing the same thing. Also, bring a tube to put your poster in. They won't give 'em to you at the show.

Normally if you hit the merch table right when the doors open you should be okay. Depending on wether or not they put limits, there should be enough.
You are taking your chances if you wait till after the show.

actually most places wont let you bring a poster tube into the venue, and they wont let you go in to get the poster, go out to your car, and then back in again. at least with the concets ive been to.
my recommendation is to bring 2 garbage bags and rubber bands, so no one will spill anything on it.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

The plastic bag setup also works well to if there is a torrential downpour outside the venue like in Ottawa 2005. I saw a lot of soggy posters that night.

where on that site do you purchase?
i can usually navigate these sites half decent-- but not this one
Definitely set up a little different. But looks like you can choose from the band lists at the bottom or just click on the poster in a particular gallery. Under the posters for sale is a little link to purchase.

Under the main page, there's a drop-down where you can select Pearl Jam...
...BUT...
There has be no "official" word from ANYONE (that I'm aware of) on what's happening for posters for this tour.
