with the indian, & Soundgarden billing, is that correct - ?

    pretty sweet.

I hope we get a nice mix and variety this time around, maybe another Firehouse edition, Kozik, Emek all those groovy designers

    good luck !

Yeah. I bought it.Cringed at the final price ($709), but I did it. I hope the value doesn't stall.
By the way, there is hope on the Ames front. I got this reply today when I signe dup for the mailing list:

    Hello,

well, the cats out of the bag now. Numerous threads blossomed in the last 4 hours.
I received my e-mail from the ames mailing list thingy.
I only really want the shows I am attending, so i guess we will be forced to deal with the others in the set.

$720.00 gets you 14 posters, ammounting to 51.42 each, and of course some limited test prints as well as " other goodies ".
sets include all signed/ numbered editions.
I wonder how fast these sets will sell out .

good luck, my fellow poster enthusiasts !

He did a P.J poster yeeeears ago, and his artwork rules. Also with the feel of the new material I think his style would complement perectly.
I agree, that's the prize of my collection! (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v230/hippiemom/posters/?action=view&current=PICT0204.jpg)

I'd also love to see Justin Hampton or Jeff Wood, and of course Emek and Kozik. And keep Brad Klausen around, I've liked his stuff a lot better than Ames lately.

so is anyone looking to split subscriptions ?

this is another option for those who cant lay down 720 smackers right as the tour kicks off!

its so difficult to call when we havent seen the artwork beforehand, i guess it is a shot in the dark.

i know some poeple who may be looking for sub spilts, depending on geography and sorting out who gets what extra and what test print, ect, ect, ect,..

maybe it would be smarter to try and just get the shows we want ( or that we attend ) , but thats taking a chance- they usually sell out very quickly and i dont want to be left without any after its all said and done . Having to resort to eBay and the drastic markups is no fun, from 25 bucks up to a couple of hundred- it sucks .

thats whats all the poster madness is all about-

    good luck everyone !

As long as I can get my poster the day of the show in the venue, I don't give a fuck what you guys do. Getting a poster in the mail kind of diminishes the effect for me.

Ooh, grat idea. I'd love to split a subscription. The only problem is cutting it in half is still $360! I'm too poor to even afford that.

Maybe I should find a higher paying job real quick.

I bet someone on here would take you up oon that, though. It's a great idea. Just don't fight overe who geets what!

I think I'm the opposite. I'd ratheer get it in the mail so I don't have to worry about it getting damaged or anything. Especially since the cost will surely go up over time.

But I know what you mean, I've bought a few at the venue and it's very exciting to rush in there and be one of the ones who actually gets a poster. Fun!

I meant in regard to the posters. As long as I get my poster at the show, I'm a happy camper. Geez, no need to be snippy. Anyway, I was only teasing.

    * peace man *

we all want our poster fix

if i had the choice of getting it at the show, ( I usually bring 5 plastic bags or so, easy to crunch up in my pockets along with a few rubberbands ) i'd much rather go that route. But this means showing up very early, hoping there is an outside merchandise stand w/ posters,..or even having to go inside way early, and even with all this,.... they are limited and usually sell out super fast. So this subscription plan is a precautionary purchase at the same time,..can alwayts use the shows that i dont attend for trading later on.

edit: Has anyone heard anything of Klausen for this upcoming tour ? I heard there may be multiple posters / artists for each venue/ show . That will be interesting ......

i have got to enrich my collection !

Thats an awesome poster... let me rephrase... one of the sweetest ones I've seen... dont take this the wrong way though you should re-mat that guy... you need at LEAST double the matting you've got there... at a minimum I would go with 3 inches on the sides and 4 on the top and bottom. That would continue the horizontal motion of the piece and give in more room to breath. As it is now it feels crammed in that frame. Also matt right to the image... you dont need that white space...

I do framing for a living and I know how much it costs (easier said than done) but if you gave ANY of your posters a re-frame that's what I would do to that one... there is just so much energy in there that is being held in by the thin mat... and the white space is just killing it for me :)

but its still awesome... what year is that from, I cant read it from the image...
    10.31.93 / 10.1.94 / 6.24.95 / 11.4.95 / 10.19-20.96 / 7.16.98 / 7.21.98 / 10.31.00 /8.4.01 Nader Rally/ 10.21.01 / 12.8-9.02 / 6.01.03 / 9.1.05 / 7.15-16,18.06 / 7.20.06 / 7.22-23.06 / Lolla 07

I agree with you, but I had to do the best I could with the money I had available. I may one day reframe it, if Pearl Jam ever stops touring long enough to free up some funds :) Not that I'm wishing for that!

I went back and forth on the white space and eventually decided to leave it to show the signature. Perhaps a mistake, I don't know ... it doesn't bother me though, maybe I'm just used to it.

The show was in 1994, my second PJ concert.

I really didnt notice the first time around
but after reading a little on BRY-

look at the info for the Detroit gig.
It seems they have collaborated-at least for 1 .
I never noticed --Klausens work will be combined with Ames on this set.
Only 1 for Brad- and what- 11 for Ames plus Ames testprint, so it works out to 12 or 13 Ames and 1 Klausen= in this sub set

speculation is that there will be certain shows where there are multiple posters by multiple artists. Hmmmmmmm

they threw a monkeywrench in on us folks.
