What still gets me is that at the 2 Canada shows I went to (Kitchner and London) the posters were selling like hot cakes. Then just 3-4 months later, everyone is slamming them..."they suck"..."whats with this/that design"..."they're ugly". I love my posters that I got from those 2 shows and display them proudly on my walls. I agree that I probably won't buy a poster from the shows on this tour that i didn't go to, but that's just my own preference. If someone doesn't like the design of the posters, don't buy one and let someone who wants one get theirs.6/22/03 – Noblesville, IN

If everyone got the posters, they wouldn't be quite as valuable or unique. I like the idea that not every 10c member has every single poster.11-2-2000 Portland. 12-8-2002 Seattle. 4-18-2003 Nashville. 5-30-2003 Vancouver. 10-25-2003 Bridge School. 9-2-2005 Vancouver.

value varies from 1 person to the next, 1 poster to the next .
I am not concerned so much about value as i am to availability- i like to have posters for the shows I attended, with the exception of personal favorites and artsy editions.

Is anyone into LEBO's work? I just went to Langerado Festival and noticed this name on all the artwork for the weekend. There's some really good stuff in there, but I don't know if it would be Pearl Jam's style.0

i dont know if i could see PJ on this artists easel- its a bit too much " cartoonish" but hey you never know for sure. Kind of reminds me of those few posters from 03, ( san diego, mountain view & irvine) , with the little kids on them,.

Yeah, that's the one. I thought it was fun in the context of the festival I went to. Bought a poster there by an artist named "Wood". It's closer than LEBO to being in Pearl Jam's style-set.Memphis 1994

Bathgate66 wrote:i also liked the calgary, london, and ottawa canadian posters.
of course its all a matter of personal preferences.
cheers!
Calgary, Thunder Bay and Saskatoon are great posters. London and Hamilton were good. The rest were ok. As for the Klaussen posters, Borgata is great. Philly and the Gorge are ok.
As for limiting the number of prints --- what's the point? It's nice to own a rare poster I guess, but it's not like they are really worth that much. I say flood the market and then you won't have people profitting off of the posters and everybody who wants one can have one. They should at least print posters for half of the people who attend the shows.1/12/1879, 4/8/1156, 2/6/1977, who gives a shit, ...0 -

thats a great idea also( flood market ). I for one only really desire the posters for shows that i attend. Yes, i have a few rarer, more collectible editions for my personal collection- but i can go the rest of the way with only posters from the shows i attend. It would be great to be given a chance to prepurchase the poster when we check out our tickets thru 10C. . But they can only coordinate so much,( we know they are extremely busy ). It was just a thought,...rather then deal with mystery poster sales later on down the road.

I agree - it's more satisfying to have posters from the shows you were at. But at the same time, I have a few extras as well.0
