thats a great idea also( flood market ). I for one only really desire the posters for shows that i attend. Yes, i have a few rarer, more collectible editions for my personal collection- but i can go the rest of the way with only posters from the shows i attend. It would be great to be given a chance to prepurchase the poster when we check out our tickets thru 10C. . But they can only coordinate so much,( we know they are extremely busy ). It was just a thought,...rather then deal with mystery poster sales later on down the road.

    thanks 10C

i bet you a plane ticket to NYC, you can't go the rest of the way without buying posters from just the shows you've attended..

for what, a plane ticket to KC?
    Hmmm,...i might be tempted-
but the price for an airplane ticket could be another gem from bigsky,....

Hey Bathgate, do you think there will be official word about posters, or will it just kinda start off as rumours and word of mouth?

your guess is as good as mine, hip.

Ames has been notoriously quiet on any association with the Pearl Jam posters, and everyone seems to know very little. Keep checking http://www.bigpopposters.com. maybe drop them a line ,.....
I suppose keeping a close eye here, along with BRY and RM are helpful, but who knows.
I think we will get very little notice of anything, but who knows.

i think limiting the print runs is a good idea like they once did..i also like the idea that fan club members should get a first crack at these, maybe not when you buy tickets cause some people who live on the west coast may not be able to make it to the east cost and so on...and no matter what they do just like how they are doing the tickets there will allways be those ungrateful people who will bitch, bitch, bitch and moan... the ticket pre sale is a THANK YOU to all the fans and yet people are BITCHING about this or that..let it go people...PEARL JAM AND THE 10CLUB are working to the bone to help us out and i think they are doing a great job...keep up the great work...PEACE

interesting conversation, but i am also only interested in the shows i actually attend. no matter how cool some of the other posters may be, i frame and hang all of mine simply because it's a memento from the shows i've attended. the only tour poster i got was the 93 tour, when they didn't do individual show posters.

hoping they do ames or other artists again this year. i know a lot of people on this board hate u2, but i saw them on their last tour and they did one-off show posters as well. not nearly as artistic as the pj ones, but i love individual event posters...
    ok, i'm done rambling.

Being that Klausen prints more copies than big pop, there will be more to be had for the fans.

I wonder if we'll actually get an official word from someone in the PJ/10C camp, telling us who's doing 'em and where we can get 'em.

doesn't usually work that way. the artist usually leaks it first from what i can recall from previous tours. but hey things change.

Maybe this is an April Fool's Day joke that they forgot to take down, but this is straight from the Ames Bros website. I did a quick search and didn't see any mention of it as a joke though.

Pearl Jam did 2 really nice things recently. They made a balls to the wall record and they invited us to do some posters for their upcoming tour. Since the band cranked it up a few notched (their typo, not mine), we feel it's our duty to follow suit. We've got a handful of beauties in the hopper and are excited to unleash them on the world.

    BEAUTIFUL FIND ! ! !

the " screenshot " is a macromedia flash file- looks like a cartoonish eagle perched on the letters " peaRL Jam "

    sweet !

I regularly check the bigpopposters site, but not the amesbros.com site !

This is the first news I have heard, and if it were an April Fools Joke, you think they would have removed it by Apr 2nd.

    OK-

so now the message is gone from that site

Was it another Aprils Fool Joke ?
How many e-mails has everyone sent to that address they had on display up at the site?

    darn tricksters !

Great that the word exclusive wasn't included by Ames- perhaps Klausen will grab a couple of shows also- just like the Canadian-AC-Philly Tour .
