    Hmmmm

a few extra dollar$, and you're getting not 1 but 2 duplicate poster designs, with only a change in color and date.
Conversely, if these happen to turn out to be the gem of the batch,.. then you've got 2 & you're straight.

Tube 3 / Leg 1 is set to be shipped next week .

I hope Klausens site is up & running soon .

    I'm aching for a DC 06.

    I wouldn't hold my breath.

How many people will actually get this, I wonder? Man, you folks who got both, that's like $1600 for posters! I love PJ, and I think Ames is great (though they seem to be slipping), but $1600! I need a job like you guys have.

No, seriously, I need a job. I just quit mine.

Well as usual I am going to a venue 4 hours away and won't make it until after doors open. Can anyone pick up a poster for me? I'd pay you extra and you could call me on my cell at the show to pick it up.

It looks to be a Klausen which have been awesome this year. I know everyone keeps hoping for a website soon. Is there actually news that this is being worked on? Or is this just rumors on the net?

my subset will consist of 20 mystery posters and only cost $30.

klausen has commented on the net himself about the need for a website ... i think that's the alleged source of the rumors

oh and i heard there's going to be a bostonlou poster for that show too

Yeah, that's just way too much money, especially after seeing the quality of the first leg posters.

I guess if you MUST have every poster, and you MUST put them all up in your house, it's a good deal. And if you want to make some money, it can be lucrative. But I could never do it.

Hell, for $1600, I can get a decent-sized painting from one of the up-and-commers here in NYC.

i'm going to be on an airplane when these puppies go on sale, probably for the best. i havent' been thrilled w/ames work for the 1st leg, but, i am going to 4 of these shows on the 2nd leg.

guess i'll try my luck at the venue and hope that SLH comes through in the clutch.

you could always find people and do a split. I'm only hitign the gorge, you're hitting 4 other shows, and I am sure there are people hititng up the rest that don't want to have to literally run inside.

leg 1 is so ugly that they're not money makers

i've seen a few s/n on ebay that have gone unsold or sold for like $10 over the retail price

not lucrative ... maybe as time passes they will be

You're right. Luckily, at least one of the two I got (Camden 1) isn't completely hideous. But E. Rutherford 1, ugh.

well , this just shows the differing vantage points.

That is 1 that i'm looking very forward to seeing first person, being that i have heard nice things about all the colors and the design isnt too bad either . Yeah, another war theme, but oh well, wtf
there certainly will be more, for sure.

Yeah, I'm curious to see it, too. I'm just not crazy about the tye-dyed look of it.

Just make sure you're picking the acid-free mat as well. It didn't look like you had, but I could be wrong.

this was the free mat they offered. The other you mentioned would be at least 10 dollars more.

    13PJ13 wrote:
Also, I'd go with a different mat color. That one doesn't seem to match, and it may detract from the poster once it's all put together. I'd suggest trying to match that orange-yellow color. And with the frame, if you can find it in that plum, that would be killer. Esp. since purple and orange are complimentary colors. These are just my aesthetics, of course. My taste. But I really do suggest at least trying to get a better aqua.
    Good luck! :)

i wasnt kidding when i said i was colorblind :o

my GF would have final say on any color combinations :o , hee hee

    thanks for your advise .

Ooh! That first poster is by Matt Terich. I used to work with him in Seattle. We worked at a local ISP, ugh. He quit to play music and, seemlingly, make posters. What a wise career change!

Ah ok. I saw posts saying that people got an email regarding Leg 2 posters, so I was wondering if that came from Ames Bros or from the Ten Club.

  • on the poster from Ames for leg two, that has the shows they will make posters for. Was that only one Gorge show? Do people think Ames will do one and Klausen will do one as well? the text on the poster was really small hard to read. Thanks

Yep, looks like Ames is only doing one night. Best guess is that Klausen or BostonLou will do the other one.
