Big money fast? Sure, lay it on me...
my dad and i bought a small manufacturing company in 1974. part A needed chrome so we found a small plating company to send it to. over the next couple months i got in good with the foreman then took him and his wife to dinner. i offered to set him up in his own business. he'll buy the business from us and we'd send our plating to him. we; of course financed him. we got our parts done first and cheaper than anyone else would charge. after a couple years we pulled our work from him and took the business back when he couldn't make the payments. we did this for anodizing; gun-drilling; grinding; and almost all of our out sourced work. what happens is you have someone that knows the business and works like it's for them. when we pull the rug from under them; the business is up and opperating and you put his foreman in charge of running the business with a family member overseeing everything.0 -
onelongsong wrote:my real problem with him is that he lies to the american public and they believe him. some people still believe that F9/11 was real. here's a guy sitting in california claiming to know what top government officials were thinking and where they were at any given moment. he was privy to the same news reports we were.
he's made movies but so has steven spielberg. cnn had moore on a couple times but they also had others on that tore the film apart. first; non-cuban residents MUST pay for medical services; unless they're making a film trying to discrace the us. there is a seperate hospital for non-residents. doctors in cuba make $20.00 per MONTH. patients have to supply their own sheets and food. the pictires showed big wards with beds packed in. the windows didn't have screens and the sanitary conditions would not be accepted in any other country. canada has announced that sheets will no longer be changed between patients. they will be turned over and washed every other patient. since americans insist on service and clean conditions; moore is full of s**t.
canada has a movement now where they're trying to get private healthcare for those who can afford faster service and better care. i'll try to find a link for you.
whew! that's a relief. so there's no problem. The health care system is a well oiled machine where no Americans are left out. It's just MM trying to give the US a black eye.
Next thing you're going to tell me is that the Haliburton he talks about and it's leader Dick Cheney are real and not a figure of moore's imagination.
that would be really scary.0 -

That sounds like a lot more work, time and energy than it's worth at this stage of my life. Sounds like big money, but not really fast. I make a comfortable enough living where my free time is mine and I do what I want with it anyway. You had me excited, like you had a lottery scam or something.#==(o )
You are not your job.
You are not how much money you have in the bank.
You are not the car you drive.
You are not the contents of your wallet.
You are not your fucking khakis.0 -

it's actually no work at all. except a few dinners and things to romance the guy. the beauty is; he does all the work. he thinks he's building a business for himself so he puts more effort into it. he puts his own money into it on top of yours.
that's where the secret is. you take money from someone else to get ahead. look at microsoft. does it really cost bill gates $700 to make a full copy of windows? that's what you'll pay if you try to buy a legit copy. i'm sure burning a copy costs him only pennies.
so here's where we return to healthcare. if there's not money in it; business men will not invest. or; we find a loophole. if microsoft had to limit earnings; smaller splinter companies could be formed. for example; one company only makes internet explorer.
my doctor has done something similar. his office practice is owned by his wife. his hospital time is his. he's got a much lower tax rate because it's divided between 2 people. the company that supplies his staff is owned by his son. he pays (and writes off) $20/hour per person yet his son pays the employees $8.00 to $10.00/hour.
now; let's say medicare will pay $100 for an office visit. he bills $135 and takes $35 as a loss. it's only a loss on paper but he still deducts it (legally) as a loss. subtract that $35.00 from the $100 he made and he's paying tax on $65.00. i'm just using numbers as examples but that's the jist of it.0 -

Anybody that busy is never home so doesn't need shelter and doesn't have time to eat or change clothes...
the truth is; i've got too much time on my hands. i like playing with the computer and i've been trying to come up with a way to make money off of global warming. i don't believe all the specialists because they are specialized. for example; you won't go to a proctologist for a foot problem. so although i don't do enviornmental research; i've been looking at global warming from a business aspect and that was the results of my feasability study. i still bet i'm right.0
