Also what % of Americans have access to this type of healthcare???

My point in the universal system is 100% would have the same access....the private system excludes millions upon millions of people....

but those millions upon millions are just lazy layabouts!!!!
    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

take a look about. welfare mammas used to pop out kids because they got more money for each kid. the government had to limit the number of kids it will pay for. sit in a pain management doctors office and see how many people are trying to get on the social security free ride. once they limp out the door it's a dash to their vehicles. my friend is a pain management doctor and he had camaras hidden all over his parking lot. he turns in at least 6 out of 10 patients in for fraud. then spend a day down at the courthouse. i've actually seen women who have a friend sign their support checks; then go to court claiming they never received support. it wasn't their signature so the bloke had to pay a second time. here's one my ex pulled. she kept a bank account in another state and went on welfare. i carried insurance on the kids but she took them to the welfare doctor; then submitted the receipt to the insurance company and got "reimbursed". i can go on with these blue collar crimes all day.

that americans are allowed to be layabouts. and universal healthcare cannot be achieved under those conditions. i saw a news report that said illegals are passing through the us and going directly into canada. i don't know how true this is but if true; your system will soon be over taxed. over tax or over regulate businesses and they'll close their doors. that's the point.

    how do you know...? seriously...

the problems you keep mentioning are under the current system, who's to say they won't be addressed under another system...?

i've never seen a tiger change its stripes. maybe i know more layabouts then most people but most of the people i know that work; work only for insurance. that's the only reason to drive 64 miles each way to work. i know a lot of self employed people but for the most part; if you show low income you get welfare and medicaid. that makes selling drugs more popular. it's unreported income so you keep your government benefits too. another system may address the problem but if people are not working now; why would they work by giving them free benefits?

then what's the big deal about universal health care...? christ, you bitch about layabout this and layabout that...I agree, some do cheat the system, which is entirely different from what Mr. Moore is talking about...which is having health care for those who need it when they need it...

mr moore didn't give any verifiable facts. it was a fictional movie. if i can get free healthcare i won't work another day of my life. i retired at age 40;- 11 years ago and work only for healthcare. i'll be the first layabout to cheat the system.

Well, that reflects upon you. The other countries with socialized medicine seem to be doing fine, sure they have problems but so do we. It's nothing more than a scare tactic to act like people will all just up and stop working if we adopted a UHC system in the US.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

i'm expecting UHC and i've taken steps to make sure i get every penny. everything goes in a pre-tax trust which is offshore. on paper; i do qualify for welfare and medicaid. this thread has convinced me to apply to show how easy it is.

cash. a short trip to the bahamas refills the wallet. everything i own is paid in full. and titled to the trust. all this started when social security denied my dad saying he didn't need the money. his lawyer came up with this scam.

From what I have gathered in the last 3 weeks, he retired at 40 and funnels money offshore, and he owns multiple manufacturing facilities where hundreds of people work and does environmental research constructing climate models.

Anybody that busy is never home so doesn't need shelter and doesn't have time to eat or change clothes...

You are not the contents of your wallet.

Damn it seems that work ethic between Canada and the USA varies quite a bit...I work because I went to school to be an engineer and I love my job work for my paycheque....and so 98% of our populace...I would hate to work a job just because they had a good insurance policy glad I do not need to worry about that.....

Here in Canada we use sarcasm when we have nothing productive to say.

Big money fast? Sure, lay it on me...
