You never PM'd me. Send me your name via PM and I'll hook you up. I am sending a little welcome gift (BEER) to those who contacted me.

Also - You probably got a shitty room. I would have upgraded you

Well, things came down to the wire late yesterday afternoon, but everything worked out well in the end,...

I'm proud/excited to post that Ed has personally donated a SIGNED poster for TONIGHT'S pre-party auction to benefit the White Ribbon Campaign. Ed signed the poster sold at Toronto I with a silver sharpie and the signature is BRILLIANT! The poster was signed at 6:45pm yesterday at Massey Hall and was then handed to me so I can assure you it has been handled VERY carefully. For those attending tonight's pre-party, get there EARLY and make sure to place your bid for the BEAUTIFUL poster to help a VERY worthwhile cause!

I can't make it until around 6:15 pm tonight. Will people still be there or will everyone already be on their way to Massey?

Unbelievable night! Everything that can be said was so I just want to thank DEMETRIOS for all his work and the incredible DVD package he put together and I was so fortunate to win.

Another shout out to MRMERKINBALL! I walked into the pre party and was going to talk to Mrmerkinball for misleading me into thinking parking was $10.00. Mrmerkinball was at the pre party and as I explain what the signage says he tells me to wait and a few minutes later he comes back with comp parking! Very, very nice of him.

Anyways MRMERKINBALL next time in T.O. I'd like to buy you a beer :)

    Thanks guys,

    Jim

I just had a quick chat with Demetrios in the lobby of the hotel. He was still on a high from last night. he doesn't have access to a computer - but wanted everyone to know that the poster is now framed.

I don't think I've ever seen someone so happy.

Anyway - we are bringing over all the stuff and setting up today at 2pm

How much did the signed eV poster go for? I told Demetrios I didn't want it to go for cheap, given the effort it took me to obtain it from Ed ;):D

my pleasure, it was a blast having it all go down so smoothly with Ed :D

The White Ribbon Campaign is a VERY worthwhile cause, and they most certainly deserve every penny raised. Ed offered the signed poster immediately after i made mention of the fact PJ selected The White Ribbon Campaign as a beneficiary for one of the Toronto shows during the WorldWide06 tour :)

as for toronto, can't wait to go back. thought of moving there. leave this small town. cause i know i can do better. but don't think i can do that move just yet.

the trip to greek town was lovely. meet so many people on my way there at thursday morning. meet a few friends on the subway which was cool. as getting around, i think i can do it. i've been to nyc, hartford, boston, montreal, toronto, los angles on my own, traveling on my own. can't wait for the next one. think it's gonna be seattle '09 & chicago '09. ;)

might even make a plan. and find a roomate in toronto. just to start off. put my leg in the door. cause i know .. chance must happen.
