I think the Elephant and Castle would be the best bet because it is an actual pub style place.
I would have no problem heading over there and talking to the management about hosting it.
    I live around the corner.

Lemme know if my services are needed.

    Thanks

Hard Rock is close by at Yonge and Dundas...a few blocks away. Cool place if they would open the upstairs for us.

Yes there is one...right on the corner of Yonge and Dundas. Dunno how much they would charge to let us have the fundraiser there. I have a friend that has hosted stuff there before.. I can ask her....but I don't want to step on any toes I'll be happy partying wherever the fundraiser is held.

I think they closed the upstairs a while ago, but they do have a patio. Regardless, I will try to make it one day forsure.

lol, that's how often I go there. I had no clue that they closed 279.

I still think the elephant & castle would be the best place. It's equipped to have a ton of pub food eating, beer drinking folks. Plus, I don't see how they would turn the business down.

after i looked at the 9 i posted, i think the imperial pub may best suit us as they have room for up to 500 - no clue how many we expect, but i also like the looks of the turf lounge, up to 120 in the main bar area - i'd be down for the hard rock as well as it's comfort food and a good environment - i have no clue about the elephant & castle as i couldn't find relevant pictures but if you guys think it's the best alternative then maybe it is

They are a chain with 20 locations.

    Really good, safe environment.

The might have the space but they don't have the STAFF. When my brother worked there...most of the time HE had to deliver the food he cooked...not the waiters..cause they hardly had any.

I'm telling you its a mistake to go there.

It suits us PJ fans the best!

But I'll at least be going to one of the gatherings, wherever it ends up!
