    anyone know where the hell santos is posting the poster sale info (date and which poster)? and is there one tonite ?
    Seems that needlessly it's getting harder
    To find an approach and a way to live
    Are we getting something out of this
    all-encompassing trip?

    No wonder people stop posting. I wasn't bitching that I didn't get a poster, I was referring to the technical issues the site experienced. I've gotten many posters off the site in the past, something happened last night that was different and everyone seems to think many of us are upset we didn't get one when we never had the chance.

    I'm done with this, I've got a Klausen sub, so I don't need anymore.

    The fact of the matter is that far too many people cannot accept that there was a technical problem...because some got through without problem.
    Truth be told, he majority of the complaints I've read (including my own) are about the fact that we weren't even all given a fair chance to compete. The icon simply did not appear to us no matter what browser we used, whether we were logged in or not, and if we were wearing bras on our heads or not. And it sucks. I will not live the rest of my life in mourning of the poster I lost, or lost the chance to purchase, but damn right I'm pissed about it and can assure you that the complaints will only continue if 10c does not look into what the problem was and come clean prior to the next sale.

    Perhaps, but I do know when I tried to get SF tickets it took my computer a good 10 minutes after my friends for the SF icon to show up... I dont think the icon shows up at the same time for everyone... and in this case it sold out so fast they took the icon down before it would show up for some people... whatever the reason there is no way to please everyone... people just need to realize its a lottery, no one is guaranteed a poster... EVER.

    tickets were sold on the old server. this is the new one...i'm betting it's coded to remove the icon automatically when the item gets out of stock and all orders get taken....

    i'm with you on the lottery thing though, although i'd have to call it a crapshoot ;)

    On my end the Boston poster link hung around for awhile after Santos declared it sold out...

    Wrong again. The link was there for other folks SEVERAL minutes into the sale. The same people who saw it from the beginning. It was not officially removed until later on, by Santos, once he made the announcement that it had sold out.
    Why the FUCK can't people accept that the 10c is not infallible?!?
    I never said it was a conspiracy.
    Nor did I say "or else" as someone else has suggested. I'm just saying the complaints will not disappear until an explanation is offered.

    yeah, i saw it for several minutes after getting the "not in stock" message when i clicked "buy"....orders were still being processed...the link stays up until all the payments have been approved...if a payment gets rejected, it puts the poster back into the system for another buyer, so the link stays up until every poster is sold. most people will still get "not in stock" until then....

    get real. stop complaining. why the FUCK can't people just accept there's only a few posters and a whole shitload of people clicking all at once? there always has to be some injustice associated with why somebody didn't get a poster. something that kept the whole process from being really "fair", like they'll say "oh, shit, we screwed everybody! let's cancel all the sales that went through jsut fine and let the people who are whining about how it wasn't fair have them instead."


    it's just childish....

    Since you know it's not infallible like everything else maybe you shouldn't be so upset or surprised when it fails. That's just the way things go. There is no way of pleasing everyone. Limited amount of posters = limited amount of people gettiing them... no matter what happened.

    If you feel like researching my posts on this subject since last night, you'll see that I have always maintained that I'm just pissed I didn't get the same chance as everyone else. Not that I didn't actually get a poster. I'm happy for anyone who got through, but I still feel that if my opportunities at a fair shot are taken from me, I deserve the opportunity to voice my disdain.

    This is actually all very true. I'm not going to argue that. I still think everyone deserves the same chance, however.
