I was thinking of trying to get tickets for Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at Central Park Summerstage. Has anyone here ever seen them live? Do they put on a good show? They are playing with Garbage, who I also like but have not yet seen live.

I saw them play before Pearl Jam at the Pemberton 2016 music festival.  PJ was the headliner so less pressure on them.  Was fun to sing a long to a few Oasis songs :)

Noel is o.k. live, but Garbage is one of my favorite live bands.  Butch Vig is an amazing drummer, and Shirley Manson is a great frontwoman!

Thanks. I am going to try for presale tickets tomorrow. I am already stressed thinking of having to deal with TM.

I really want to see Noel, but don’t have much interest in Garbage or Metric unfortunately.  Closest he’s coming is about 2 hours away.  I might hold out and try to make it to a Liam show in the next couple years.

I got tickets for Noel Gallagher/Garbage. It was one of the easiest TM purchases I have made. I had a presale code and was number 30 in the queue. It is all GA, so no having to worry about grabbing certain seats. In and out in less than a few minutes.

The L.A. show is reserved seats.....the first section (approx 20 rows) is $179.50 + fees.....looks like I will be skipping this show unless the secondary market has some bargains closer to showtime.

That’s a lot. This show is in a small section of Central Park on the grass. Tickets were $101 with fees. There is a small bleacher section behind the lawn. Tickets were $154 for that. I just got the lawn.

Fuck me if that isn't a show I would break my $200 a ticket rule and even for the nosebleeds.  I would shit!  I'm sure getting tickets would be a nightmare and dynamic pricing would make Springsteen seats look cheap.

That would be a great show. I only saw them once, but it was amazing.

I think both brothers are well aware of how lucrative a reunion would be.

Oasis were absolutely magic.  Blessed to see them twice in 1996. They were like an unstoppable train. Never seen anything like it. I listen to oasis every day. Absolutely love them.  They won't reform. Noel loves riling liam. Hypothetical scenario and they..it would either be the greatest comback of all time or a car crash.

i wish i wish i wish i wish, i guess it never stops

Oh they absolutely will. They like money and attention.
