What is that under his shirt? Timbaland's puppet strings?

All the pics of him smashing guitars are visual metaphors for him smashing his credibility

The song Scream (except for the stupid timbaland spoken words) is better than a lot of songs on Carry on, even if the lyrics are generic (hey, he wants to do a modern pop r'nb album, so deep dark introspective metaphors aren't well appropriate maybe)

I was a little dissapointed too when i first hear the first tracks (especially Watch out the aerobic song), but i don't think it's that bad, even if there's clumsy gimmicks like the monkeys of Ground zero

the hating on Cornell is so overrated, even if it comes from honest disappointed fans, from one side to another there's no nuance, there's the ultimate fan boys who will say cornell is god and more & the ex fans/new haters who says Cornell is the sell out antichrist

come on, he made 13 fuckin' albums, he's still make great shows, if he wants have fun with this one & play with the pop world gimmicks it's alright, and the timberlake outtakes thing was funny, but the title Scream don't look like a outtake by Timbaland standards, i find the itunes version really nice with the complete intro/outro http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=YrSqRfKhS4g

I just love the way that they used really cheap equipment in that shoot. Fair enough with the guitars but the presence of a Marshall MG100DFX stack in the background is hilarious. Can't wait to read the blog!

I still say the street teamers are to blame for the closing of all these threads... somehow. Of course, I blame them or CC when I burn toast, can't find my keys, stub my toe, etc...

My hating on Cornell isn't overrated, in fact, I don't even know what that means. My hate comes from a pure and honest place... which is the exact opposite of where Scream comes from.

Just been on CC's website and heard these new tracks for the first time.
I really don't know what to think.

Not sure where this whole Timbaland/Hip-hop producer thing's come from. He's not a hip-hop producer, he's pop.
He makes pop records. Works well for Timberlake & Furtardo, but Cornell...?

Seriously? Ummm no. I find the whole song to be criminally boring. Also, once I heard the manufactured beats and Timbaland talking, I had to stab someone. You owe my co-worker an apology.

Ok I just listened to Scream all the way through for the first time. Seriously, I have to hear your reasoning for saying that outro is "amazing"?

I like it :p. Very catchy and dancey, and not as dreary as Long Gone or Scream itself.

    Sarcasm? lol!

(actually, I quite like 'Scream' *she says in small voice*...and that's the best version I've heard so far)

ok, I'll be honest. I actually don't mind "Never Far Away." I wouldn't go as far as to say its a good song, but from what I've heard of this abomination its the best one...God knows that's not saying a lot but...

Let it never be said that the CC street teamers aren't dedicated and fanatic. I'm sure they are voting early and often.

The outro is better than the song itself, which is unbelievably repetitive

Here's snippets of "Enemy" and "Part Of Me"

Part Of Me sounds as bad as when we first heard it. I like the sound of Enemy - similar to Watch Out apart from the fact that it's good and less annoying.

Not sure. I like to think being high improves music but there has to be an exception to every rule. Anyway, God knows I'm not man enough to volunteer for that experiment.
