Hahahaha I saw him on the show's intro and I couldn't believe it. I'm embarrassed to admit that I ever liked that guy.

Fuck it. At this point I'd settle for the "Carry On" Chris Cornell.

I sure am glad I knew nothing about this. I don't know if I have any more respect for him to lose.
I am lost, I'm no guide. But I'm by your side...

It's a case of not knowing who you are..It is really unbelievable..I thought he had rocker in his blood. The vocals are decent, but the lyrics are shite..and screw the Timbaland production..he needs Kim and Matt. Chris turning into a crooner is surprising. If Dave Grohl ever does this ..it's officially Bizarro World.

I just threw up in my mouth just a little.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but I hope Pearl Jam never lets him on stage with them again. When I was watching that, I had a funny thought. I envisioned Matt climbing on stage and beating the living fuck out of him. Then Stone jumping up there and kicking him while he laid there crying.

    Street Teamer? Damage control?

I don't think it has anything to do with being snobby. I think fans with some music integrity can smell a sell-out a mile away. And I don't throw the term "sell-out" around hardly ever.

    Eeeeexactly!

This performance with Timbatwat doesn't surprise me in the slightest. He's the definition of sell out.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Maybe he got greedy and saw dollar signs instead of integrity... we'll never know...

  • I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt (AGAIN) and say that we all know he's into fashion, and I think he agreed to perform and then got roped into that crap performance. I dont think it has anything to do with selling out. and teh strp show that followed him wasnt bad.

I dont mind the fact that he chose Timbaland to produce. maybe he's sick of the old sound and wants to try something new. fine. Carry On sucked anyways. I will give the new album a listen on 10/14.

let's hope he eventually decides to do an album with just him and an acoustic guitar.
