Anyone else think that the outro to Scream sounds absoutely amazing?

The outro is better than the song itself, which is unbelievably repetitive

Here's snippets of "Enemy" and "Part Of Me"

Part Of Me sounds as bad as when we first heard it. I like the sound of Enemy - similar to Watch Out apart from the fact that it's good and less annoying.

As a lover of animals, I am going to have to insist you quit flogging this poor horse. Wait, just checked the vitals... it's already dead.

Not sure. I like to think being high improves music but there has to be an exception to every rule. Anyway, God knows I'm not man enough to volunteer for that experiment.

Notice Soundgarden is written as two words? Seems no one on the positive side of this has a fucking clue about the man's musical past. Right down to the band name

If it is possible to smoke too much, I must have crossed that bridge years ago. Now I'm just riding the wave of something like senility. Good times...

Do people feel as if they were personally betrayed by CC, or are they just having fun bashing him?

Fun. I definitely don't feel personally betrayed, but I do feel that he's letting himself down, big time. So he's both an easy target, and a deserving target. Win win.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

I just question his motivations. Had this album really come across as a genuine genre-bending extravaganza I would have been happy. I was in no way bothered to hear that he was working with Timbaland, because I thought it would result in something really unique, but the results are distinctly underwhelming, so far. It all just seems to follow the very strict parameters of what Timbaland produces, thus he had to put his spoken word bits and generic beats into songs. I just wonder why Cornell has handed over quite so much of the musical reins to Timbaland, when they could have come up with something a little more balanced in terms of their individual input.

The result is, that he has completely polarised his fans, and he's having to fully embrace the corporate side of musical marketing in order to appeal to new fans so as to make this a success. And it is this that I have a problem with. I could handle another duff album - it couldn't get much worse than Carry On, but the shameless Verizon adverts and marketing based on his looks alone, really irritate me.
