I usually don't buy much at Bruce shows, but the day of my front row center show, I got the grey bag, and the grey shirt that has the band profile on the back. I love the bag - I use it all the time.
I am jealous of who heard For You - it is one of my favorite songs and I don't think I've ever heard it live. And Prove it All Night.
Oh yeah, and Point Blank, though I believe I heard that in The River tour.

went to the seattle show last night...........no Patty or Danny, but Nils was there. Clarence was looking really slow and tired, but man, can still play that sax.
Absolutely awesome they opened with Trapped instead of Radio Nowhere (was second song). So there were two tour premieres (Trapped and Point Blank)
Did a Patti Smith cover (Because the Night)........
Here's the setlist:
Trapped
Radio Nowhere
No Surrender
Lonesome Day
Gypsy Biker
Magic
Reason To Believe
Darkness On The Edge Of Town
Because The Night
She's The One
Livin' In The Future
The Promised Land
Waitin' On A Sunny Day
Your Own Worst Enemy
Point Blank
Devil's Arcade
The Rising
Last To Die
Long Walk Home
Badlands
And the encore............I'd say he's taking requests.......
Bruce grabs a sign '10th Ave'.....played it.
Grabs another sign 'Rosalita', leans it against the base of his mic......played it.
Bruce actually wrote Because The Night - so hence not really a " cover "
Yeah, to me its kind of like Footsteps/Times of Trouble, and as much as I love Patti and her version, Bruce did the lion's share of it, but the song has 2 separate lives with 2 different artists. (And I can sing along to the right version at each of their shows!)

Man, I hope that I get to hear a lengthy version of 10th Avenue Freeze-Out before I die. Or even just a regular version. I've heard that song a million times, but it's one of those songs that just never gets old.
It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win
and there's already two versions of the show up on dime.
yeah, Bruce wrote the music and the chorus. gave it to Patti Smith unfinished and she wrote the rest of the lyrics. then i guess when Bruce got around to it he wrote his lyrics which are pretty similar to Patti's. great version on the Live 1975-85 box.
MARCH 28, PORTLAND
Friday night's show at the Rose Garden had its moments, but it took a while for them to materialize. A sluggish start gave way to a good run through the middle of the show, and to several surprises, with few of them written on the set list. Rather, they came courtesy of an abundance of signs. Taking one cue from a fan, Springsteen indicated that he would honor the request despite the sign looking "cheap." "We treat them all alike," he said. And in this instance, he played not one but two favorites off Greetings from Asbury Park in succession, each played for only the second time on the tour: "For You" followed by "Lost in the Flood."
The latter showed real E Street mettle, as Roy and Bruce had to work to get their parts synced just right. Once the band kicked in, the song really belonged to Max Weinberg, who pushed the band hard all night long.
Nils Lofgren had his moment on a superb "Prove it All Night," taking an extended solo to end the song. And Clarence didn't wait until "Jungleland" to shine (another request in the encore, courtesy of a sign that was a gorgeous likeness of an Oregon license plate). The Big Man sounded strong throughout the show, particularly on the "Night" opener; he lost his way a bit at the end of the "Jungleland" solo, but the band covered nicely.
Though parts of the show sounded rushed -- "Last to Die," in particular was a sprint -- Bruce was in good humor throughout. He joked that the pot smoke wafting up from the pit might cause a shorter show (it ended up clocking in at a respectable 2:20). Later, spotting a group of women in the pit wearing tee shirts that read "Lesbians [heart] Bruce," he changed a line in "American Land" from "the Germans and the Jews" to "lesbians and Jews." Though the show didn't sell out, the crowd was receptive and enthusiastic, and the quiet parts of the show were pin-drop quiet. That made "Magic" (returning to the set after a night off) and the last verse of "Jungleland" particularly memorable.
Next: The second of three in the Pacific Northwest, Saturday night in Seattle.
Yeah it took until about "Lost in the Flood" for everyone to get going. You ever go to a show and feel that the setlist was written just for you (pun intended): Reason to Believe(!) Candy's Room(!) For You(!) Lost In the Flood (!) Jungleland (!!!), most excellent Bruce, most excellent.
I'll post a more detailed review later .......still glowing from the show last night!!! My GF and I managed to win pit tickets last night and were about four people deep directly in front of the BOSS!!!

Forgot to add, Max Weinberg was absolutely on fucking fire at the Portland show. Dare I say it was Cameron-esque?
Andy I couldn't believe when we got both of my favorite Bruce songs back to back!!! First 10th Ave Freeze out and then Rosy!!! ...I just about went ape shit! Bruce seemed very into it ...and it was amazing to see him so close!!! Very cool to see the tour debut of None for the Brave! Truly an amazing show!!! ...... With the Canucks playing the Avs tonight I Just hope we didn't do too much damage to the ice last night roockin out so hard on the floor!!!
The crowd was great we meet a really cool guy while waiting to get into the pit who was seeing the Boss for the 17th time last night
Bruce took some requests last night playing None and Waitin' on a Sunny Day.
After playing Sunny day he took the sign that was made for the song and rubbed himself with it I guess he liked it ......Didn't see them but I heard some of the Avs players were in attendance. My GF left the show with a big smile but her only disappointment was not seeing Pink Cadillac ....do they still play that? There was a group of about for people behind the stage holding up a giant sign requesting it.
Once again the Boss proved why he is the Boss and I look forward to my next chance to see him play!

That last setlist is my dream setlist. I am seeing him for the first time with E-street in Charlottle on the 27th. I saw him solo in Richmond in 2005 for Devils and Dust tour and literally fainted when he first took the stage but got back up and had an awesome time. Don't know what's going to happen with E-Street coming out too, hope I don't die. I have been watching DVD's even on the TV screen it is so incredible I can barely handle it. I hope I get a setlist very similar to the last one in Vancouver. Cannot wait!

Yes, mezmerizing is exactly how I would describe it. It was the most powerful and intimate show I have ever been to...Oh man I am trying to prepare for the E Street Band I am sure it will be amazing.
That certainly belies 58 years doesn't it. I hope I can do that at 58.
i would guess Bruce was up on the drum platform, banging Maxs' symbols with the butt end of the neck of the Tele, like he has done so many times before. That looks like an awful big space for The Boss to leap from his flat footed guitar stance, no ?
Even tho, we all know that noone can put on the show the way that Bruce & ESB does-
but as you mentioned i hope at 58 i can do even a small portion of what these people do nightly.
