What stuns/amazes me is that he's just as good at 62 as he was at 42... so you're not seeing a stale act. Everyone's first Bruce show turns them into a believer.

Got a couple Bruce books yesterday. Anybody have these?

Bruce Springsteen and the Promise of Rock 'n' Roll
    http://www.amazon.com/Bruce-Springsteen ... pringsteen

Magic In the Night: The Words and Music of Bruce Springsteen
    http://www.amazon.com/Magic-Night-Words ... pringsteen

I was glancing at the "Magic in the Night" book last night and in the chapter on "Nebraska", the author included the original track listing of the demo tape:

    1. Bye Bye Johnny
    2. Starkweather (Nebraska)
    3. Atlantic City
    4. Mansion on the Hill
    5. Born In the U.S.A.
    6. Johnny 99
    7. Downbound Train
    8. Losin' Kind
    9. State Trooper
    10. Used Cars
    11. Wanda (Open All Night)
    12. Child Bride
    13. Pink Cadillac
    14. Highway Patrolman
    15. Reason to Believe

I wonder if he'll reissue "Nebraska" and would include this version of it also? And the band version of the songs.

Not sure but it started 1 hour and 23 minutes before the main set... apparently he left the stage after the 5 songs and said "see you in a little while."

Holy CRAP! Just out of curiosity I went on Ticketmaster to see if any tix were available for his 3 Boston area shows. Both Fenway shows were sold out so I checked his Gillette Stadium show for Saturday the 18th and I pulled 2 tix side by side, Section 109 (50 yard line) 3rd row. :o  :o

So now I am utterly amazed I am going to see Bruce on a Sat night. I hope he shows Boston some 4 hour love on a Saturday night in Foxboro. :D

Anyone know of any good sounding bootlegs from the tour so far?

Found this soundboard version of "Jailhouse Rock". I think it's from this past tour.

Currently downloading as I type. Here's what I downloaded tonight and what I have downloading now:

    Downloaded:
    7/7/1978 - The Roxy
    9/30/1978 - Atlanta Fox Theater
    11/5/1980 - Arizona

    Downloading:
4/10/1976 - Wallingford, CT (plan to download all the CT shows I can find)
    8/9/1978 - The Agora
    9/19/1978 - Passaic
    12/15/1978 - Winterland

I've had some others downloaded before tonight, like the final Giants Stadium show in 2009 where he played the whole BITUSA album, the MSG show in 2009 where he played the entire River album, LA 9/30/1985, NYE 1980, and Philly 12/9/1980.

All classic shows. There are two CT stadium shows from the '03 Rising Tour that are worth getting, for the setlists. The sound quality is just average though.

One of the best from the River tour! There was some speculation about the entire show being released on dvd/blu-ray in the future, hopefully with the River boxset, if there's ever one.
