The holy trinity of Bruce bootlegs, in my opinion. You'll enjoy those over and over. :D

Awesome! I may have to check out this show. I have so many boots to listen to, from all the one's I downloaded this week.

The past week, I've been listening to his discography in order (minus the bootlegs). I'm up to Tracks right now.

Nice! I've been wanting to do that for a while. That MSG 09 show I posted earlier is supposed to be soundboard quality (or pretty close to it). The Paris one is good quality, while also retaining that boot factor. I think there may be a couple of Paris boots out there, but the links I provided supposedly have the best sound quality. I made it through half of it last night...can't wait to finish the rest.

Now I need to check out those 78 shows you downloaded and a couple from the River tour that are supposed to be outstanding.

Thanks. The "Live/1975-1985" album took about a few days because I was at work all day during the week. I'm up to the 3rd disc of "Tracks" right now. The second disc is fantastic. I love the demo version of "Born in the USA".

I downloaded the MSG 2009 show where he plays the entire "River" album a few months and started to listen to it not too long ago and it does sound close to soundboard quality.

Definitely check out the '78 shows I posted and downloaded. Enjoy those versions of "Prove it All Night". For the River Tour shows that I've downloaded, Arizona (11/5) sounds really good for an audience recording. The New Years Eve show in Nassau is one of the best shows I've ever heard by any band and sounds really good. I also downloaded the 12/9/1980 show, the day after John Lennon was killed. The quality isn't compared to the others listed on here, but I wanted to listen to that show. It's a good one to listen to, if you're interested.

Listening to the 4th and final disc of "Tracks" and "Sad Eyes" came on. Heard it once a few months ago and forgot about it. Just heard it and can't believe how great that song is. Only Bruce can write a song like that and not have it released on an album.

I haven't heard everything off of Tracks, so I'll have to check it out.

18 Tracks has 3 songs that are not on the Tracks box set (The Promise, The Fever, and Trouble River). I think the version of 'The Promise' on 18 Tracks is different from the one on The Promise CD.

Because the Night, not only did he not release it but he gave it away, amazinng song, some great shredding
I'm amazed at how many songs he wrote and did not release and would be huge songs for other people, like that one and "Fire". And I agree, great shredding on that one.

After listening to "Tracks" for a second time all the way through this weekend, I think these are my top 5 favorites from it right now (no particular order):

"Take 'em As They Come" - anyone notice a similarity to this song with "Summer of '69"?
"Born in the U.S.A. (demo)" - hauntingly spectacular
"My Love Will Not Let You Down"
    "Sad Eyes"
    "Back In Your Arms"
