Bruce Springsteen just keeps going for the Gold. Forget the Olympics, Bruce just keeps trying to outdo himself.
On Saturday at the Valle Hovin in Oslo, Norway, Bruce and the E Street Band played a 33-song, three-hour-and-47-minute show, just missing by a minute their longest show ever, 3:48 on June 17 in Madrid.
Among the 33 songs, was the premiere of "Ain't Good Enough for You" an outtake from "Darkness on the Edge of Town" which was officially released on 2010's "Promise" box set.
Bruce had played it once before, at the filming at the Casino in Asbury Park on Dec. 7, 2010.
Internet reports say it was played for a sign request, as was the tour premiere of "Streets of Fire."
Bruce again opened the show with an acoustic song, the fans in Olso got "The Promised Land." Interesting to see "Rocky Ground" being played in the middle of the set.
Also a tweet by @BobOverland said before Bruce played "We Are Alive" he said: "Where the sun never sets and no curfews. Llivenation can kiss our behind!" referring to what happened last Saturday in London.
The 33rd song of the show was "Night." I'm pretty sure that's the first time it has ever closed a show.
Show began at 7:34 p.m. local time (six hours ahead of New Jersey)
Set list:
1. The Promised Land (Acoustic)
2. No Surrender

To be fair to the organisers at Hyde Park, if they didn't fade the sound then, there's a high risk that their license will be taken away to have more shows in the years to come by the council.
Not that I'm in any rush to return to Hyde Park for a show - the sound is the most horrible in all the venues I've ever attended, no thanks to the council's restrictions on the decibel levels, the lack of any slope whatsoever, and the ridiculous mid-venue advertising structures that block out so much of the view.

Hope you get to go! KC is about 8 hours from Dallas and that show is the day after the San Antonio Eddie show I was planning to go to so I would have to give up that for Bruce. I've seen Eddie 3 times already though and Bruce only once so it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. I wonder if he will add a Texas show or two after the Arizona date. There's still room for it on the schedule.

It wouldn't be a problem for me if I didn't have work at the time they go on sale.

I'll probably be working, too... with no internet access. But ticket drops a few days before the show are almost a guarantee and thats what I'll be banking on -- they're usually the best seats in the house to boot.
I actually got a pair of GA's for the April show in Albany from stubhub for face value, so I'll keep an eye on that, too.
i'll be at least 1 Giants Stadium ( MetLife---whatever )
check rthis out from Helsinki Finlands show-
Bruce played an acoustic 5 songs set in the pit
When I arrived today at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, I didn’t expect to see a great five song acoustic set. Although there was no scheduled soundcheck, Bruce came out on stage at 6:15 pm, shortly after arriving. I assumed he was going up to check out the stage, and at first he really was, but minutes later, I heard the speakers come on and Bruce began to riff and sing “I’ll Work for Your Love.” I realized that Bruce, coming to the venue after two days away from the stage, could not suppress his desire to connect with us from the microphone. It was clear as the set progressed through “Leap of Faith” and “No Surrender” that this wasn’t Bruce warming up. He was hitting every note, and his voice was clarion clear. Closing out the set with “For You” and “Blinded by the Light,” Bruce made it clear that there was something else he had come out to do. At the end of “Blinded,” he climbed down to the audience, and he began a ten minute run of the barrier. Shaking a series of hands (and occasionally getting a peck on the cheek from young Helsinki women), he collected cardboard signs which would occupy his dressing room as he composed the set list. Each time he climbed the risers on his way to the left or right, completing a full lap of the stage, the crowd would erupt in a cheer, likewise when a young pink-haired fan gave him a hug, before he received her written request. Afterward he came back to the microphone to say, “Thanks to all you regulars and thanks for making it a lovely summer for us, and we’ll see you in a little while!” Huge applause. So don’t ever ask me what to expect at a Bruce concert, other than a great time and a great show, because there’s no way to know.

I actually got a pair of GA's for the April show in Albany from stubhub for face value, so I'll keep an eye on that, too.
