Ain't Good Enough For You on The Promise just popped on shuffle. WOW! Amazing song I can't believe it didn't make an album. And they just played it for the first time ever a couple weeks ago in Oslo.

That was terrific -- one of my faves off The Promise release. :D

Anyone here gonna be any of the Boston shows to open the 3rd leg? I've got some ok seats for Fenway 2 and some nice field seats for Gilette. Lemme know and we can meet up beforehand...

I'm copying you. Finished disk 1 of The River earlier. There's actually some Bruce material I've never heard before so I'm looking forward to getting there...never heard Human Touch, Lucky Town, all of Tracks, and all of Working on a Dream

I read he almost gave away Hungry Heart as well.

Yep. Almost gave it to The Ramones. Landau had to convince not to. Also, he originally wrote "Cover Me" for Donna Summer. Landau also said "no" to that. He wrote "Protection" for her, which is also a damn good song.

    i dont know about expenses
but i know those are the most desirable by the diehards
theres an entire segment of those that
just have to be in the pit no matter what
    i prefer a reserved seat.

I think for arena shows, Bruce GA seats are generally the same price as lower levels..maybe around 100 after fees. For these shows, the GA procedure is a bit different from other artist's shows..getting there early won't necessarily get you a spot closest to the stage. There are 2 GA sections. There is a barrier halfway through the arena and entry to the front GA section is random. Typically the venue will start assigning numbers to GA ticket holders at the venue starting at around noon or 1. Later in the day they will pick a number and the ticket holder with that number up to the next X numbers will get into the pit.

When I saw Bruce in Dallas, I think there were around 900 people who had received a number at the venue before the show. I think my number was around 500. The venue chose something like number 700 so those were the people who could go into the front GA section first. They let numbers 743-900 in first, and if there was still room they started at number 1. Obviously, that section was already full by the time they got to me, but I made it right behind the secondary barrier. Here's a video of the floor so you can see what I'm talking about.

I looked last night on Ticketmaster to see if they had Hartford listed and they finally did. I checked the prices and was surprised the prices weren't $100 before fees. Ticket prices are $65 and $98. Going to be tough since it's the only north east show this leg in the tri-state area...or my own made up name: quad-state area.

I got a single GA for the KC show, but also a single in section 106 row 6. Which one do you think is better? Obviously pit is the best, but since that's not guaranteed I was thinking about taking the 106. Do any frequent concert goers have some thoughts on this.

And now to the most recent and terrific album, "Wrecking Ball". Hadn't listened to WOAD in a while and I know a lot of people don't care for that album, but I always found it to be a really good album. A lot of the songs seem like a love letter to Patti.

"Take 'Em As They Come": so brilliant that it doesn't make an album. If any other band or artist wrote and released this song, it would be a big hit for them.
