Plus over time IMO the adhesive will kill the print but that will take some years

i find it funny how people freak about dry mounting but it seems to be the only guaranteed way to flatten that fucker out

plus say it's a crap print... like a boston II 06 unsigned... the value is not going up... so who cares right?

Well I just sent my Wembley poster in to get framed; it’s my first time getting a poster framed so I’m a bit nervous on how it will turn out.
I’ll post some pictures when I get it back

New to the message pit. Just got a few prints back from my framer. They had a pretty cool idea for the S/N portion of the print. They were having problems with the matte and the S/N portion so they tried this out. I think it is pretty cool and it makes the S/N POP a bit. My camera was acting up, I will try and get some better pics later. Let me know what you think:

I like the look of your framing efforts. Nice white matts which don't compete with the posters.

    Cheers

drymounting certainly allows one to enjoy the poster now. if i weren't so anal i'd drymount all my posters...however that being said i'll probably die without 99% of my poster collection ever seeing the light of day/being hung on a wall.

    nice!
    :)

i just recently had mine framed as well. i had it framed exactly like my other 2 - italy 06 and dusseldorf 07 - simply black metal deep frame, spacer bars so the print doesn't touch the glass, UV glass and acid-free backing, all 100% archival and exactly how i will frme EVERY pj poster i get. actually, right now i have my recently purchased uniondale 03 - my first pj show! - getting that exact frame job. i am all about simplicity. :)

someday, when i amass ALL the posters from my shows, and we have a media room, all my posters will be displayed together and i think it will look quite badass. until then, i only have a few posters, frame my *special* shows.....and as i hopefully get all my other posters, just store them flat/archivally...until i have the proper display space.

anyhoooo...i didn't love the wembley poster, but i bought it at the show b/c i have learned i always wish i did buy the posters, or kept them for myself, etc.....and this one was no exception. since framing it, i like it OH soooo much more!

btw - if anyone has an unframed boston I 2004 and/or gorge 005 they are looking to sell, do please PM. i really want them both and am having difficulty pinning anyone down the sell. thanks. :)
    Stay with me...
