starting to book trips for next summer.  Was hoping we'd get some dates by now.  oh well.
Yep, us as well. North Carolina into Memorial Day weekend and Ireland over Labor Day.
Its interesting that most major bands book shows but pj waits so long to make a announcement. When so many folks like to plan stuff

Some of yall will never be happy with the amount of tour dates the band does nowadays. You just hate the band cause everything was better back in the day.
I thought their last album was their strongest since yield; it would have been nice to see it live more. I don't think asking a band who makes money performing live to play live is a lot to ask for.

I don’t think Josh would be the choice because of all the other things he does, from drumming to guitar and percussion and background vocals. That seems to be an established part of the shows now.

Did you see what Mike just said in the new videos?
"I can't wait to do it again some day."

Maybe he wanted to say "See you next year" :)

To me 2025 was just the finishing leg of the dark matter tour...not its own tour.

Yes, they had something like 45 scheduled shows over a calendar year (a little more). That's the DM tour. But of course, they should play more shows more often if they want to.

2025 was hardly a tour.  This band hasn’t played more than 40 shows in a year since 2006. Can’t imagine how much better they would be if they actually played a decent amount of shows.

On the flips side, maybe they've survived 35 years as a band due to all the downtime? :)
Let's break PJ35 down into a normal full time job....say PJ20 when it's all added up?

I mean, we're fans of Pearl Jam, other than the first few years, they've never really been a heavy touring band.  Even when we had big world tours for Yield through Avacado, when compared to peers, even those tours weren't that big.

If we're looking for big expansive tours, I don't think Pearl Jam is that band.  If you want a band that has legs is going the distance, then you've come to the right place :)

I'd rather get a tour announcement than a drummer reveal.

    Day 10 is the newsletter.
What would make me happy is a big fat hint at a 2026 tour in the newsletter.
