It will be a while I'm afraid before any solid info. We're in a different place this year, because of the drummer situation. It will just take longer for him to learn a significant portion of the catalog, rehearse in earnest with the guys and really build the kind of on-stage band chemistry we love so much. And he might have other projects & commitments as well.#Grievance20250

In theory that would be cool AF, but it doesn’t require a crystal ball to see that the audience would ONLY be the same 100 rail mafia people for EVERY SINGLE SHOW. Think they get hate now, just wait for that scenario.stones said:
One thing I would like to see PJ take the Foo Fighters lead on is playing some small club shows ahead of the tour dates to blood the new drummer. It would be cool AF to get a few tiny 10c only shows...drfox said:I wonder if in the future the band will accept a pay day to play somewhere like Abu Dhabi or Singapore (often on the Grand Prix weekend). Lots of similar US bands have recently played there eg Foo Fighters, GNR etc.0 -

Any drummer they picked is someone who has experience and is a very active musician.gotthebottle said:

For all anyone knows they lined up Matt’s replacement in the first quarter of 2025 before the spring tour and the band is taking 12-24 months off.
No one knows anything and all of this is hunches and baseless speculation.0 -
Why are we assuming a he? Janet Weiss for example would be a tremendous candidateShaindli1 said:It will be a while I'm afraid before any solid info. Foo Fighters and / or QOTSA for Ohana 2026? Would fit in the tour announced today

I can't speak for all drummers, but as an active guitarist in a band who's worked a lot with drummers in multiple bands, and has 3 close friends who are either highly seasoned or professional touring drummers - Shaindli's comment is definitely not a wild take. Especially knowing the band's catelogue and their nightly switch up of setlists.gotthebottle said:
