No. My payment details are also missing. It says "Application Error" on the web and blank on the App. I wanted to buy tickets to another event and it won't let me checkout because there is no way to select a payment. That's through Live Nation but it doesn't matter because the login is through Ticketmaster. At this point it's about the principle. Yeah I could start another account but I've been using this one for years.

I hope there are some left after the holidays. How does everyone have all this money to spend? (rhetorical question don't get all riled up)

I'm going to guess as dates gets closer, people will realize that travel costs or conflicts will make them sell. Plus, since you don't get reimbursement until after the shows, there isn't a rush to post f2f until you for sure cannot attend.
For resellers,  it's a no lose situation.  They can hold their stub hub posts as long as they want, and if they don't sell, can put on f2f for cost and get a refund.

That's only true for Stubhub, Seat Geek, et al. Ticketmaster pays within 30 days (often quicker) because it's all internal. After a sale they do the transfer immediately. If a show is canceled or postpone the person that bought the resold ticket is Ticketmaster's customer. The seller is off the hook because TM handled everything. The third-parties have to wait until after the shows to make sure the seller delivered the tickets and the show went on. All those F2F sellers from last week will get their money around MLK day.

I think places like stubhub pay you after the event (right?), but when I've sold back on f2f I got paid like a week later.

TM just told me these blocks are permanent. At least mine is. They said it was for a violation of terms of service. They won’t tell me which term it was. There are only two in there I can think of that I may have violated without realizing. One is refreshing faster than every three seconds including going back and forth between one and two tickets. The other is having more than 1000 clicks in a 24 hour period. I know that sounds like a lot but when you are moving between 1 and 2 tickets the clicks add up fast. They said I can open a new account but that really sucks. I have had this account for as long as they have had online purchases. They are blocking us but the bots keep getting through.

It's definitely crazy. So be careful out there. I am going to open a new account, but am terrified to even buy a ticket.

Sorry to hear this but thank you for this info and the heads up. Echo all the comments about this being ridiculous especially the 3-second or less refreshes and 1000 click/day quota.  But to then permanently ban your TM account for one violation going forward - WTH?!?!

If you create a new account, do your tickets from the old account transfer to the new one?  I sure hope so.  What a cluster.

My god this is just stupid. We should all at least complain to 10C so they'll reconsider how they handle ticketing on their end.

Did the rep offer to escalate the issue or just flat out say the blocks are permanent?

For what's it's worth, I did contact a bunch of executives of Ticketmaster/Live Nation using e-mails I found on various website with an issue I had. I don't know which one of them did it but that person got the ball rolling and the company did fix the problem. I was happily surprised by it. If I am still blocked by next Monday I will repeat that method.

No they don't. If the artist allows it you can transfer the tickets to the new account but the PJ events don't. If I'm perma banned I'm not going to be happen especially since there is no way I'm taxing their system compared to the bot farms.

That is awful and I'm sorry to hear!  Does this mean you can't: 1) access your existing tickets; and 2) sell any spares via Fan to Fan??

Thanks. The whole thing sucks. I was told that I will continue to have access to my account to manage any existing tickets, but will need to create a new account to purchase new tickets. So, if I can buy tickets with a new account anyway, what is the purpose of blocking my existing account. It makes no sense to me at all.

I can kinda get why people may be trying hard for the Hollywood shows now, maybe Pitt, but really in almost all situations the best spot for f2f is the week or 2 before the show. Make refundable plans, it’s going to be ok.

My new TM account is all set up and my tickets are still in my other account - so I guess that is the solution if you get blocked. I was able to look for tickets with the new account. You need to sign up for a new account with a different email so I just created a new gmail account that I will just use for TM I guess. What a pain.

I don’t disagree w/ your premise… there should be more tickets available closer to the shows; I guess we’ll see how ok it is down the stretch if people are still getting permanently suspended for refreshing too much.

I was told that as well. However, maybe it depends on what they think you did. I asked them to tell me what they think I did but no response. So, my guess was clicking through the site too fast or too often. I was originally told I had too much activity - so that is what I assume. I think they want to say they are doing something about bots - like saying look how many accounts we shut down this year. But they are shutting down the accounts of regular people, while the bots continue to wreak havoc.

That's a good question (do tickets from old account transfer to the new one?)

My guess is no since it's not the same account.

But your tickets should still be your tickets, and TM should not deny you your tickets.

    What a Gong show.
