Vance knew he needed to come across as human so he adjusted, where as Walz is who he is all the time. Vance plays to the crowd and is a snake in the grass. It's a hopeless situation...0

Nope. It’s no sleep ‘til Brooklyn for me. I have a child who, literally, will not survive four more years of that asshole. And I take the Constitution and democracy and freedom and all that way too seriously to relax right now. I was full of optimism in 2016, believing 538.com and stories about the T—-p campaign in disarray because it felt good. Not anymore, not for me.Gern Blansten said:

Harris should be up by ten points across the board after that debate. Nothing moves the needle at this point.
Frankly I’d like coverage of polls to go away. Last night, buried in/by the Eric Adams story, was a poll showing T—-p up by ten points in AZ. I’m of the opinion that AZ is chock full of crazy, but wtf??All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0 -

Totally agree. The word "slick" crossed my mind a number of times. A dangerous animal, if you ask me.

Pretty much dead even on "who won". Republicans said Vance won, D's to Walz. Unaffiliated broke slightly to Walz, but probably not statistically significant. I think what we can see is that it is Trump who is creating the coarseness of the debate and the anger in this country. I think the civility of these exchanges is yet more evidence of what we already knew. JFC, let's get him out of the public eye once and for all.

It is true that they are lower than Trump's last months in office. I just read it somewhere the other day. Probably in WAPO.mace1229 said:
