Travelled to London from Edinburgh. Been here for 30 minutes and learn it’s cancelled :(

Guessing there will be many people travelling a lot further

Travelling from Serbia... At least I will have romantic weekend in London with my wife.
Only few shows, I don't know how many times in Berlin and UK, no east or south Europe, I am really disappointed to miss this tour.
Hope Ed is OK which is the most important.

Just announce Berlin is off too please so I can cancel my flights and hotel
I expect for many reasons such as insurance this isnt possible
Why shouldn’t that be possible? Bruce had to cancel 3 shows well in advance due to his voice problems.

If they know, that Ed can’t perform in Berlin, cancel asap. If they don’t know, say something like „we are hoping to play in Berlin but are not certain“ in your statement.
you raise a good point - I was just guessing really as I do not know how these things work

I expect Ed expects he perhaps just needs the extra few days to be in top shape again. Playing London may have put the rest of the tour in doubt so it may well have just been a trade off
That is possible and would be perfectly understandable. But saying nothing about future dates is again textbook-10c-to-fan-communication.
It really is a fluid situation though.

The shows are happening until they can't.

    Then the communication is given.

If there is no info that means the shows are planning to happen.

That greatest hits show in Dublin doesn't seem so bad now.

But from a promotional perspective and how it looks to fans, it won't look good if you have 2 consecutive cancellation messages on your website in such a short time, so unless it's my copium kicking in, they must have communicated that Berlin at least seems hopeful and Ed will just need a few more days.

Just managed to get 2 standing green day tickets for 89 quid each as already got non refundable travel and hotel. An OK consolation I guess, absolutely gutted though
Good work - enjoy the show.

Ouch. Fingers crossed for Berlin...lucky for me I actually want to visit Berlin anyway (never been) so I'll still be happy to fly there. Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be a 2 date Euro tour

Now thinking of getting a Green Day ticket....

Same here. Travelling from abroad and won't be happy boarding that train tomorrow,  but such is life and there are worse things then london weekends with the missus at 25°.

Relativizing sadness already but f* sh*.

    For sure.

Right now no news is good news.

If you had news right now it would be Berlin was cancelled.

This is the same band that has cancelled more shows hours before the show was going to happen than days before. Thats how they operate for better or worse.

Yes unfortunately it's too much of a risk to purchase plane tickets to travel to see a PJ show...as well as drive anywhere over 2 hours unless you have a backup non PJ fun filled itinerary to do when (not if) it happens (every tour now).

Obviously it is an understandable decision. Not really an issue you can just say “the show must go on” about.

But this band’s batting average at being able to maintain their commitments is getting to be staggeringly low.

I don’t know how people are still traveling long distances to see this band. After Vegas and then Indy I decided to stop booking flights to see this band.

What's the refund process via Ticketmaster??

I think the advice would be, going forward, just try to see the shows that are closer to you and don’t make big travel plans.  It’s a gamble and nothing about it is inexpensive.

Bummer.  I wouldn’t read too much into this cancelation just yet. Ed got sick, played a show, sounded rough, and 2-3 days later he’s probably gotten worse.

The band sounded awesome on Leg 1 when healthy.  I get that our instincts are to hypothesize a larger meaning based on the cancelation, but let’s see how the next week plays out.

As someone who flew to Indy last year, I feel for those impacted.  It sucks, plain and simple.

Would rather go watch a Liam Gallagher show in Manchester if I had it in me to change city for tonight, but would for sure go se Green Day if I was stuck in London without a PJ show tomorrow.

Live close enough to just not travel in though.
