Jazzfest is great for PJ. You can guarantee yourself a ticket. It’s cheaper than any other PJ show as well.

IF they do a residency I believe it would be at Climate Pledge.  Easy way to keep costs down and it was discussed during the venues renovations.

It's a fantastic venue. If they do one of those residency jams, so looking forward to attending.

Absolutely.  I've never been to Seattle, and I plan to visit the next time Pearl Jam plays.  A residency would be sweet!  I think the band would have fun with that too.

Far fetched, but fun to imagine.  Benaroya Hall residency.  That would be a cool vinyl set.  The Residency Collection

Never been to the PNW at all and would love to go, for PJ and lots of other things to see!
  • Ed said something during a Seattle show this year about "Tuesdays at Climate Pledge" and being invited to play there whenever they want.  If they could make it Saturdays at Climate Pledge, they might be on to something,
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

I wouldn’t think too much into this, he says a lot of things on stage to get the crowd pumped.

Residency at Climate Pledge is cool, just make sure it's in July when I may or may not be around for some work stuff :)

I was hoping for the winter so hotel prices would be cheaper.   Love winter tours :)  Logistically I don't think it would work due to Hockey Season unless you want to keep taking the stage up and down.

Winter shows in Seattle would be amazing for a number of reasons but, and to your point, Kraken.

That would be a “crack in” the theory.

Tearing the stage down is obviously a big task but not THAT big of a one where that would really be an issue. It’s amazing how fast those crews can turn a stage into a hockey rink.
    Happens often.
In Detroit the other weekend there was a concert on Friday, a hockey game in the afternoon Saturday, and then a basketball game later that same night. All in the same arena. 3 events in the span of 24 hours. Impressive stuff

Yes we have very fond memories of those Nov.and Dec. 2013 dates on the Lightning Bolt tour. The shows were awesome-Portland,Vancouver and Seattle for us.  Way cheaper hotel prices and a real cold Arctic snap that blew in aftter Portland which is really unusual that early in the winter at least in Van. and Seattle.. Really sunny, cold and no snow or frost so easy driving.

It's early yet, but already moving on to a potential late summer/early fall tour. I've got a week vacation for the week of Labor Day. The original plan was to hit up Washington's National Parks and scope out Seattle.

Buuuuttttt....a PJ35 weekend could change things.

You would have thought Europe, South America or Canada would be next given three US legs done already

I just hope we get a full dark matter euro leg at some point.

Their best work in many many years and we got royally shafted with that euro jaunt. Couldn't be helped of course but it was a such a sickener all round. Im still mega excited by the album almost a year in......

I agree. I still play it all the time. Hopefully we will get a Euro leg as so many fans had their plans cancelled.

I got super lucky as I was only going to Dublin, Barcelona and Lisbon for Europe and none were canceled (although Dublin and Lisbon weren't the most exciting shows if you wanted to hear more than Ten).

That wasn't really even a proper Europe tour if they didn't cancel anything.  9 shows in 5 countries.

Not an assumption. Just a possibility.

I'll be happy if they perform here in MA again of course. Logistics can be a bit of a thing for me since I'll be driving back from Pittsburgh and all that.

Pitt 2 is Sunday and Boston Calling is the next weekend. Earliest they would play is Friday night. Plenty of time for a leisurely trip back.

Might have to stop for a day or two along the way.  Also at least a day of rest would be nice.

In the announcement, didn’t they say something along the lines of, “This run of shows will conclude in Pittsburgh.”
Made me believe nothing is being added on at the end of this run.  Seems odd they’d take a week off and then play a festival like Boston Calling.
