Hartford sells out every time. It draws the NYC and the Boston fans. PJ still offers good value, but it is clear, at least to me, their management is maximizing revenue at this point. I am surprised at the mid-atlantic/southeast tour dates. I would not have guessed that. You never know with this band.
Have they not been back to Hartford since 2013? That was a legendary show.  Also loved 2008! (I missed 2010)
Hartford 2008 is still my GOAT!
I was tenth row center for that show thanks to a very generous fan

edited to say I’m just now realizing how luck I was during my first shows: about twentieth row at the gorge, then tenth row in Hartford, then the beacon theatre which is very small for them

Chicago is a wonderful location for PJ35.  This gives me hope for Philly.  Then I'd imagine Seattle.  And perhaps Ohana.

They’re not taking a week off and then going back to play east coast for one festival date in a city that just got two shows in September.

It's four off days between Pittsburgh 2 (5/18) and the first night of Boston Calling (5/23). Not a week.

Here's how the daydream plays out:

    5/18 - Pitt 2
    5/21 - Tor/Mtl/QC
    5/23 - Tor/Mtl/QC
    5/25 - Boston Calling

Canada as its own lottery isn't unprecedented so doesn't really screw anything up if it's announced later. Granted this is unlikely but it's the holiday season so I've already talked myself into PJ and System as 2/3 of the BC headliners.

    SO... a few things:
    - never gave much thought to LL fest, but entertained the thought based on the possible payout enticing the band. Raleigh def killed it, but figured everyone else came to that conclusion.
    - Jazz Fest has very much been in play since the beginning of the credible rumors. At this point, we're down to "is it 05/03, or 05/04"? Either way, Ed has 2 days to rest the pipes. And if it means anything, I think it's Saturday. Don't hate me, if I'm wrong!
    - Boston Calling seems like a stretch. I'd have given it more credence if TO and/or Montreal ended up materializing. That loop would make sense, and they'd still come in at 13, 14-ish shows (which fits with their current max, per leg).
    - IF BC is in play, and that's a big "if", then it would make sense to stop for 2 nights at an old favorite between Pitt & Boston: HARTFORD.

The QC promoters won’t allow 2 QC cities. Either Evenko runs the MTL show or TM runs the QC show.

They should add an Ottawa or Hamilton show similar to the Gigaton run.
