How was the merch situation inside? Honestly probably just looking for a poster, and only gonna be in Vegas for like 18 hours, so standing in a 3 hour line really doesn’t sound all the great to me

We got through really fast but if you show up later the line was ridiculously long

We showed up close to 8. Deep Sea Diver was already playing. The wait was about a half hour. Maybe 35 minutes. And it was more orderly than most PJ shows. They had lines roped off. Shockingly, show shirts, stickers and dice were all still there. Posters too, though a lot of people didn’t like that poster, so that may be part of it. All in all I was happy. It feels like they didn’t underproduce most items like they usually do.

If the past is any indication, these posters will almost always be available in the 10c shop. And this tour, they seem to be listing them 2-3 days after the concert, as opposed to waiting for the tour to end.

Not sure if this is directed at me? Regardless these artists are all immensely talented. I could not make a better print than the so called worst print in PJ concert history. I just know what I like. I also hope all the artists get there cash

I think it was directed at the guy who was informing all the artists why their posters were no good and what they should be doing to make better posters.

No, I think it was me. The funny thing is all I said was I didn’t care for his style from what I’ve seen from him so far. I could like something from him in the future. Who knows. However, my opinion was seen as 💩ing on the artist and being disrespectful. Then the sensitive boys jumped on me and started their petty attacks. It’s such a shame that God forbid someone can’t voice an opinion on this board without blowback. It’s cool though, the keyboard bullies won’t stop me from voicing my thoughts on art. Plus, if artists get their feelings hurt so easily then maybe they chose the wrong profession. It comes with the territory.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.
For Vegas 1, I got into the venue around 6:45, checked out the absurdly long merch lines, and went to my seat to enjoy a glass (err, cup) of wine and Deep Sea Diver (they were awesome).
After PJ was done, I made my way back up to the merch booth closest to where I was sitting (section 8) and they still had almost everything left. Within 5 minutes I had acquired a jacket, a shirt, a cap, and some pins. They didn't have anymore posters, but I didn't intend to buy one anyway.
Don't know if they'll restock for Vegas 2, but for the first night at least, waiting till the end of the show was the way to go (assuming you didn't want a poster).
Edit: I should also mention that I overheard that they were out of stock in at least one size of a particular shirt by the end of the show, but getting a large of the shirt I wanted wasn't a problem..

I think this is the most recent rundown on artists/cities
Thanks! We’ll find out tomorrow morning and a new raging debate will commence. 😉
The circle of life!
I think the Vegas posters should be very energetic, and the N1 poster certainly captured that vibe. It seems as some people don't like the abstract styling though. But can't please everyone. I think those that don't like the Vegas N1 poster would probably love the Vancouver N2 poster with the whale. That is also a very nice poster. I appreciate all of these posters for their uniqueness and creative styles.
Thanks for sharing. I had liked the yellow initially, but this green is absolutely amazing. The green variant helps to balance out the overall loudness of the colors. Very smooth looking.
If you are getting early entry with GA, then indoor merch is definitely the way to go. There will hardly be any line and they will have everything available. My experience from Sacramento.

I'm a big fan of the Vegas one and fortunately for my wallet I prefer the yellow. Just seems to pop more.
I bet that poster really does pop. Brian did the postponed Indy show poster, same color scheme, and i really like it. Is it a bit more busy than many of the other posters I have? Sure. But I wouldnt/don't hang it near my '03s and 06's that are basically 1-2 colors. Dude does some rad artwork!
