Yeah it’s pretty disappointing. I think I’m more-so just kind of flabbergasted that they had an abundance of time to plan for this and still couldn’t get it right. I understand that delays happen due to unforeseen circumstances, but are they not giving themselves any wiggle room when they plan out the logistics? Instead of shipping out Thursday (seems like that was the case for most), these should have been on there merry way Monday am.
I think, at the very least, we deserve an explanation and apology from the 10c given the price tag.

I'm going to guess that they actually aim for things to arrive on-time, but prefer late deliveries to early, just to try to avoid leaks. So, yes, your album arrives a day or so late (exacerbated by the weekend).
Also, as noted, this isn't just Pearl Jam. I have 2 pre-orders that released yesterday but won't be here until today/next week. It happens.

Yesterday, I had my son-in-law stop at Target in the next town over and get me a second copy on his way home. I received an e-Mail confirmation this morning that a shipping label has been printed...

At this point I'm over it and have listened to the album plenty through different formats. I was really looking forward to having the actual record yesterday to sit and do that a few times. I have thought about looking to see if the record store day version is still at my local shop, but so far have held out. Even though I think the RSD version looks cool, I don't need two and I don't want to go through selling one or something else.
But in that regard, like someone else said, if these weren't going to be here on release day, I wouldn't have preordered it. I would have just gone to my local shop. Hell, while nothing fancy, Target had them.
Was a bit disappointed that the album was arriving after release but listened on Apple and the wife bought me the CD to tide me over. First CD that has been purchased since early 2000s. The 10C variant is worth it to me but I totally understand why some won’t preorder again.

I am more shocked by people claiming to have gotten previous pre-orders on-time than the albums arriving late. I feel like it's common knowledge that 10C orders aren't exactly timely, especially vinyl.

I assumed i wouldn’t get it on release day, but the lack of tracking is frustrating. Mine says it left the UPS facility in Fife, WA at 1:30am 4/18 and there’s been no updates (and no estimated delivery date) for more than 72 hours now. Still expecting it tomorrow, but showing some progress would be nice. At least i have my RSD finds from yesterday to keep me distracted.

Directly, you’re right. But they are the ones who chose to ship UPS, and charged a lot for that shipping.
Also, still no updated tracking info since my shipment left Fife, WA more than four days ago.
Mine hasn't really been shipped yet. And it usually takes a month to arrive where I live in Spain. I hope I'll get it by June. I pre-ordered the 10C vinyl variant but I bought the cd last friday in a local store
