I’ve been f5ing for LV the last two days. Everything is snapped up in seconds, which I tend to think are bots. I can’t imagine there are that many also f5’ing like mad. I had floors and GA in my cart only to error on the checkout. I was able to snag some lowers and sell my 10C uppers quickly for N1. Still trying to get something for N2

Think of how many of us, just on this board are f5ing all day, then multiply that by 10 or more, and thats how many people are f5ing for all the same tickets...while some of them already have tickets and are playing upgrade games...
Also, to be fair, there havent been a ton of drops, so there is limited supply hitting the market.

If there are only 20 people refreshing a show when tickets go up and all 20 are pretty quick through checkout, you only have like a 5% chance of getting them. 20 isn’t a lot of people.

Also, people are thinking the tix were posted when they actually see the tickets on their screen. That isn't accurate. The quicker you refresh, the quicker you see the tickets, but they may have been there for a few seconds already.

its rough, i have some folks who are trying to hold tickets for a coordinated drop, no clue when to try to make that happen. :( nerves are shot!
took almost 45 minutes for a ticket to pop after listing today...sold in 2 mins...

The lack of behind the stage seats has also lessened the amount of tickets out there which doesn't help either.

had to eat tickets last time after upgrading seats..... would have sold it for less.... TM wouldn't let me do that...
I know the feeling. Happened to me for one of the LA shows in 22'.

I think in 2023 a lot of people I know entered for tickets with multiple 10c #s (spouses, siblings, children, parents, pets, etc) hoping to land GAs but then got stuck with shit seats they had to sell or eat. So this year they parred down how many entries they made. I didn’t see too many people with lower levels across from the stage or upper levels in 2024, whereas these were relatively prevelant in 2023. As others have mentioned, the lack of rear seating is also an issue for inventory.
I am trying to remind myself most seats I’ve ended up using the past 15 years or so I don’t end up landing until a few days before the show. I also need singles for most of the shows I’m looking for and feel relatively confident about those. That said, iso a pair for msg 2!

Also, don't forget that those overpriced PJ Premium tickets will drop down in price as the shows get closer. They'll be the regular face value a day or 2 before the show if people will just hold off on buying them.

I just looked at TickPick, and there’s a lot of similar rows in sections that were available on F2F for LV1
Exactly. You're competing against bots and you aren't going to win. Few people here and there may get lucky and check out faster but that's about it. Going to be this way for a while

the floor tickets for LA I tried for are there.. ... I think we have our answer ..
Not to sound like too much of a skeptic but how do you know they were the floor tickets that you tried for? Lol.
there are same Row, same Section. sure doesn't give seat numbers... but only so many seats in the row.. deduction.. only so many tickets are going to sold in the first row of the floor.
Also, it’s fishy that F2F premium price singles are popping up two at a time in the same row on TM for prices slightly lower than any premium priced seat I’ve seen. If bots are truly the case for F2F misses, the band and industry ought to know. TM is calling some of us bots for trying too many times, but scalpers are able to use software. I know the band is already paid, but I have to hope someone like Jeff would be outraged.

I wish someone cared.. back in 2018 when Metallica opened up the new Chase center in SF, they planned a show with the Symphony.. the show was a Friday and when it went on sale - BOTs took all the tickets. Fans got next to nothing. They had to add a second show with higher cyber security to get tickets to fans.. I got tickets to the second show.

What's worse, is that we as Fans, have NO control over the tickets we get or the shows we win. The only way we can get tickets to shows we miss out on is to buy them on F2F... We cant even just trade them with others who have what we want.. So its ok for all these tickets to leave fans for secondary market to control... Not us, fans who will search all day to get a buddy into the PIT.. BS!
Unfortunately you need to time the dumps really late, when less people are actively searching.
When the oakland show was supposed to be in 2020, me and another board member, due to TM's system, somehow split of a pair of GA. A while later he offered to put up his single GA ticket so I could get it. We did it at 11pm, and I thought that was even early, but I struggle to stay up past that in my old age I think some people were doing their exchanges at 2 or 3am to do it when the least amount of people would be searching :(

Just got a pair of GA for Berlin. It says "early entry" on the tickets as well. Is it safe to assume I actually do get the early entry even though I did not win those tickets through the 10C lottery but bought them on f2f?
