I don’t see this as a problem, for the most part the ID’s should match. Short term issue for some, long term for the good of the true fan.0

I have an iPhone SE and was able to add my Indy tickets from my wife’s TM account to my wallet. I then logged back into my TM account and was able to add a set of tickets to my wallet. No problem.0

The ticket is already in my Apple wallet. The “hold near reader” messages moves as well. If I decide to end up selling F2F at some point, is this going to be an issue? The issue we are talking about is logging into someone else’s account from your phone. But just make sure to remove from your wallet before selling or transferring.0

Anyone test this new security protocol on an Android device? I have a bunch of old Amazon Fire tablets - may bring to LV and hand them out on GA line if that’s a workaround. TM is trying to stop bots by requiring a matching email account that the user is logged into at the time of the show?If that’s correct what stops the broker from creating transferable email addresses to accompany the disposable TM account? There are much easier ways to prevent bots from buying on F2F by simply identifying disposable TM accounts at time of purchase based on the account history.0

So, if my wife were to log into our TM account on her phone and download our tickets to a show to her phone, would I be able to log into our TM account later and download tickets to the next show on my phone?Philly 4-29-2016 ● NYC 9-11-2022 ● Camden 9-14-2022 ● Ft Worth 9-15-2023 ● Austin 9-18-2023 ● Philly 9-7-2024 ● Philly 9-9-2024

If there are much easier ways to prohibit bots, and you know how, please DM me so we can start a business and cash in...1995: New Orleans, LA

It seems the answer is no, unless you log into the second device with the same apple id...i think "we" are still testing this out and should know more after the next couple of shows...?
So far it seems that:
- buy tix
- open TM
- tap place in wallet
- get prompted for faceID/MFA to move forward
- tickets in wallet
(please chime in if this is not correct)
From there, at least ins past years, you can remove from wallet, i think SHZA posted something about this a few posts back...1995: New Orleans, LA

This was such a fun thread in years past. Now it seems like F2F is one issue after another.___________________________________________

Last year in St. Paul I had upgraded to GA on F2F and wanted to give my amazing reserved ticket to a friend. That was when we found out the wallet transfer didn’t work. We tried all types of ways including my signing on to his iPhone with my Apple ID and logging into my TM account from there. It still didn’t work. We even tried to disable Face ID. Still didn’t work. We ended up doing a very tense timed drop on F2F on the spot. Luckily he was able to get the ticket.0

I feel like these changes are being made in order to help us in the long run, admittedly causing some short term pain...TBD i guess...i am trying to keep positive and hoping that this all works out in the end (which it seems to be for most of us so far).
