Staying at Blue Horizons in Coal Harbour area. Is this a drive to and park at the show sort of thing or a walk to/from the hotel type of deal?
I’d walk. Roughly 20-25 mins if you don’t slow down to look at things.

Thank you - I figured after the show, it would likely be enough people walking in the same direction that we would be okay.

Yeah should be fine after the show. Typically people walking around even late at night. Personally I’ve always found all of Vancouver to be safe to walk around. Even in the rougher areas as long as you keep to yourself and don’t bother anyone you shouldn’t have any problems.

A bunch of PJ Prem tix have shown up for May 4th including a floor ticket. $289. I'd go for that floor ticket on Row 7 but I think I'd be stuck with my Row 36 floor seat - $213. That puppy ain't gonna sell.

If you’re doing to do it list your current ticket immediately because as each day passes, and as premium prices drop, many are going to end up with unsold inventory. Once sold I’d wait until much closer to the show: you’ll upgrade for cost.

Oof. There’s a lot of blue dots on both nights. Might be significantly more sparsely attended than a typical PJ tour opener.

I agree. I can't believe how many tickets are available for both shows. Ticketmaster just released a huge amount this morning. I'm guessing they have way more that they're waiting to release as well.
Even if every blue dot came down to face value I just don't see these tickets selling. I'm not sure there is as much demand for these shows as they think.

Anyone know what this new password locked tix “Registration Sale” category is for night 2? 🤔

For anyone interested, a bunch of the back lower bowl tix for Night 2 are now "Standard Admission," face value. And there are LOTS.

The volume of tickets still available for both nights makes me wonder if we might eventually see prices drop below the 10C original cost. Strange to see how differently these shows are selling compared to everything else in NA.

Not really shocked at all.  Vancouver isn't the biggest city.  2.5 million people.  Vancouver 2013 had low enough demand they did a 2nd drawing for GA.  I was pretty shocked they're doing 2 shows.

We just put up row 26's for night 2 that friends are using.  I have to assume at this point if we can sell 'em, something better will come up at face or less.

Night 2 seems have quite a bit less demand.

It's also crazy how many tickets TM was sitting on.

Yes, last couple single Van shows I’ve had no problem getting pairs in the pit. Now for 2 shows I didn’t win pit for either. Not seeing many people say they got GA for these shows. Not everyone posts here of course but still seems unusual.

Stubhub & Vivid both have N1 pit tix for absurd prices. It’ll be interesting to see how many end up on there 👎

I think a lot of what they misplayed had to do with the original drop. It looks like the upper bowl is largely sold out based on the locations of the F2F tickets that are currently listed (though there are some non-F2F on night 2). I feel for people who bought in the upper deck because of the appearance of scarcity created by the number of tickets held back, only to see scores of seats just released in way better locations. Now they’re saddled with tickets they won’t be able to sell.

Resellers have figured out workarounds.  Sometimes it's using dummy TM accounts, but for U2 at the Sphere, where the GA pit was also Fan2Fan, resllers had a way of sending a link to the buyer, that shares the bar code.   I'm guessing an app has been developed that can live action relay the bar code from one place to another?

It was only a matter of time as more bands started to use fan2fan.

Yah that was odd.  They had to redraw to get rid of GA tickets in 2013, and in 2024, with not that high of demand for tickets, most of us couldn't at least get 1 night?  Something did seem fishy with the GA draw for Vancouver :(

I was thinking the same thing. I got GA tickets in 2013 no problem but couldn't get GA for either of the shows this year.
I just thought I was really unlucky but it doesn't sound like I was the only one.

Also I have row 6 and row 8 tickets on the floor for these shows which is decent but now seeing that Ticketmaster held on to a bunch of row, 3, 5 and 7 on the floor and is trying to sell them for over $900 each for these shows pisses me off.

Neither my wife nor I got GA for Vancouver either.  I was a little surprised based on what I'd read on this board about the prior Vancouver shows, since it seemed like one of the easier shows to score GA for.  Maybe they had a smaller pit inventory this time around?  Oh well, now on to several weeks of endless refreshing on F2F.

I think you will do well hitting GA closer to the Vancouver shows as compared to others.

Hope you're right. We have solid floor seats but would love to scoop GA for at least one of the nights.

Scoured various threads a bit for Van GA stats and came up with this:

-Only 3 members have posted GA wins for N1
-6 members have posted GA wins for N2
-2 members have mentioned having N2 GA for trade but never posted about winning them

As I’ve said I’m well aware that many don’t post here but this seems so odd.

Nice sleuthing. Hmm, something doesn't smell right on TM's part (which isn't the least bit surprising)

The other interesting thing I’ve picked up on is it seems non-GA floor seats were treated as “best seats” when it came to giving out fanclub lottery wins; while now that TM is trying to sell the N2 inventory they held back, side stage lower bowl are being treated as “best seats” ahead of non-GA floor 🤨

Yup. I think there were different large scale anomalies in both the US & Cdn lottery results.
Canada seemed to avoid the all or nothing win results but our GA situation seems off.
