I see TM just released more seats they were holding back for N1 and are trying to rip people off right until the last minute with more Premium bullshit.

I really hope everyone who goes and gets the chance (if you are asked for specific song requests) could help this man out

I think Setting sun might be played anyway, but Man Of The Hour would be extremely sweet for him, I think.

Whitecaps expecting 30000 for their game on Saturday.
Just saw a local news report.
    Going to be busy
Thanks for the head's up on this one! Meant to check their schedule out and I had assumed that the Whitecaps would be in afternoon schedule mode.

Just wanted to put in a plug for J.J. Bean coffee. Great local business, everything roasted locally superfresh. mostly medium roast brew and one only really good dark.

Really good wraps, muffins, etc. There are I believe 6 downtown and a bunch more in North Van. in greater Vancouver. I think you get 10% off if you purchase a digital card for min. $20.00 which doesn't go that far these days. Check the hours as some in the business district I believe are weekdays only.

It's really exciting to see you all getting on flights to get here for these two shows. I hope you all have a good time. I'll see if I can make it to The Pint for Saturday. I'm pretty shy so I may have many intentions to go, but I may veer off at the last minute as I get close to the bar. I'll be wearing my Tears for Fears T so you may see me in the corner with a glass of wine in my hand.

I still have (2) tickets for May 4th - Floor row 29 - Selling for under face value.

We are staying on Richards street.  Been checking out food options.  Maybe the Moose?  Looking for good pub grub that can soak up the beer.

Tantan noodles sound good but maybe not before a bunch of beer and a concert....

DM if you are interested in the tickets.

I'd normally recommend the restaurant attached to the Kingston Hotel. It's been my go to place, but lately it's gone down hill and was horrible when we went to the Black Crowes a few weeks back.

With the Whitecaps game at 7:30pm it's going to very busy downtown. Shark Club's great but it may be too late to get in there. Browns Social is next to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, but again, it's going to be busy. You may have to venture away from the venue.

It's been awhile since I've been to Malone's on Pender Street and it was just okay, but if you are looking for burgers and beer, that should fit the bill.

Thanks for the information.  I grew up in and around Seattle so I've been to and through Vancouver (on the way to Whistler) 50+ times over the years.  But I know a bunch of stuff probably closed during the covid situation.  We will be taking the train up so the Shark Club is right on the way to L' Hermitage.  Burgers look tasty and we will be there long before the game crowd.
Then maybe somewhere for a cocktail after the show.
I wish yesterday's weather was tomorrow but it will be a great time none the less.

I suppose getting in at 5pm by time I clear customs is going to make it hard to get a spot downtown with the game tonight. Shark's Club was option 1 just due to proximity
