Was getting the album and the single, but dropped the single cause $40 in shipping seemed crazy (so does the $27 for the vinyl), but figured I can do without the single. Postal service has something called media mail which reduces the cost of sound recordings. Dont know if they use this, but they should (I'm thinking vinyl qualifies).

I bought mine right when they dropped last night and paid $18 for two records. Since that’s two separate shipping fees it’s not TOO bad compared to what everyone else is posting but it’s still too much. And they should combine shipping charges.

Ten Club should get free shipping or at least a big discount. Seems like Ten Club is taking more things away than adding: no t-shirt, Deep is gone, etc

They can't even send out the deep mags or vinyl we were promised... No way they do this for us anymore.

AT https://pearljam.emi.com/  the bundle, which includes 7 inch single, album on clear vinyl and CD + Blu-ray for $90 shipped to US. Vinyl alone is also $9 for shipping
    THANK YOU!!
  • First off I love Pearl Jam and support them constantly.  I've spent sooo much money at shows like the rest of you.
In my opinion the best way to be heard is to flood forums with new posts all about the same issue.
That seems to really get moderators attention.  If you agree start a new discussion topic.
Please reduce the shipping cost to a reasonable rate.

I felt the opposite.  It was just over $18usd to ship a record, cd, and 7" single to Canada.  That's really good.  Many other other retailers are now charging around 25 to 30USD to ship to Canada :(

The people that ordered first had different shipping rates.   In the middle of the night the rates changes.  That's what everyone is talking about.   Your $18 is now like $90 in morning shipping rates.

oh crazy, yah that's pretty high :(

The shipping rate to Chile for the vinyl record is 70.52 more expensive than the vinyl itself. This is outrageous.

Remember the 90's when they were fighting against Ticketmaster for ticket prices, well this goes totally against that spirit.

can't we at least see if this is a mistake first?  It seems like the rate has changed which indicates to me it isnt on purpose

  • $11 single additional $13+ for shipping??? I added a $1 sticker and it added an addition $6+ in shipping.
Something is set up wrong. No way it can be accurate. For $27 that LP better ship in a blast proof container.  :s

I don't understand why each item needs to ship individually, especially with the shipping prices listed?

EACH ITEM WILL SHIP SEPARATELY AND THEREFORE BILLED INDIVIDUALLY FOR EACH ITEM
It’s probably easier to have everything boxed up individually to lower the chances of missing items. Just slap a label and send.

Well, these shipping prices sucked a lot the excitement out of the new album.
I'm still excited for new music, don't get me wrong. But I've always enjoyed prdering the vinyl and CD, playing a physical copy, reading through the notes as I play it for the first time. That part of the experience will be gone and I'll be just digital if this is what they think it costs to ship a CD.
$27 to ship 1 lp or $14 to ship 1 CD? ha ha.

While I think this is an error and we’ll get normal 10c shipping costs, other places will be selling it on release day. You can still do that.

As much as I would like that red 10C variant, this is my plan if the shipping costs don't come down to earth.

Chicago shipping was reasonable - here’s a data point from ordering around the time everything dropped

It was a mistake and it's now fixed.

I just got the red variant for a $13 shipping charge. Still don't love dropping $60, but for a variant? So be it.

It's changed indeed, back down to 27$ now. Anyone have an idea how long this ten club variant will be available or are normally available? Ideally I'd wait to order until the bootlegs of this year drop but I don't think it'll be available then..

Shipping is still an issue, if you order both the album and the single (was $40 plus to North Carolina for both at the same time).

Order them individually, and its $13 (album) and $7 (single) to North Carolina.

Same, was double earlier this morning, back down to $13 for shipping. CLEARLY a plot to brainwash us into being grateful for $13 shipping.

On a serious note, though, glad it was corrected. Hopefully those that bought at the higher price receive adjustments.
