Hi.

You're old. You're a fan of a band who is over 3 decades old. 

Now that we have established that, what makes you feel old? Not talking about your achy back or your arthritis or that you have to pee 10 times during the night. I am talking about the fact that if they did a true Wonder Years show now that went back in time the same amount as the first one did, it would take place in fucking 2003 Hahaha....let that sink in for a minute. You're mostly likely too old to even be Kevin Arnold in this. 

Today I helped a client who was born approximately 3 weeks BEFORE 9/11. How is that even possible? I mean, yeah I know how that is possible....but, really, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. That blew my fucking mind. I feel like a dinosaur at times and I'm only 45. 

Anyway....what makes you feel old? 


PS---@wobbie, my man!---please do not hijack this thread. Yes, yes, we get it, you have about 20 years of more references than the rest of us do. You're really, really old. But give the rest of the younger-ish folks a chance to respond as well please.

    I feel old when my college students write papers that refer to something happening at the turn of the century or in the 1900s and they mean in the 1990s.

    I have adult kids and I was lucky enough to have a beautiful daughter who is now 6, with a woman who is the most perfect woman for me. 
    And I now stand in the playground taking her to primary school at the age of 48 having seen and heard it all before. I try and say nothing but I find my self saying out loud ." That's a load of shit"
    Also when I get into a conversation with my adult kids and I'm told I can't say that anymore. ..... Ok best I just stfu..( that's shut the fuck up you old folks)

    I’m so old I remember downloading porn pics (not vids) and waiting like a minute sometimes to see the whole enchilada… and had to make sure it would suffice cause having to look for another could waste tons of time

    kids don’t know how easy they got it now 🤣

    Went with Mrs FMe to her 30th high school reunion.  Some of her friends we pre-partied with had significant others who were born the graduation year of the returning class.  
    Made me feel old but also made me feel like my spouse could be 18 years younger?  :lol:

    Unfortunately I have heard of Rizz...although I am not 100% certain what it means.

    I think Swiftie is kind of common now...also unfortunately.
