Actually, you don't have to be a !0 Club member to buy the $200 version at Ames Bros. (where they take a lot more care with shipping).

This books seems pretty cool but I don't really get the same feeling that I would a PJ photo book or a even a new album. Posters and drawings of non-band related things just doesn't hit home for me. Especially for a couple hundred bucks.

Since when are Pearl Jam gig posters "non-band related things"?

Over in my neck of the woods, it snowed on our parade. I'm patiently waiting, too. That being said, since it's after December 1, wonder if there's any estimated time of shipping....$50 and $200 is a lot of money, so an update would be nice.

Any idea what the art prints that come with the $200 book are? Are they band related? Copies of ones in the book? No idea yet?
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut
sent in my Poster a week ago, looks like the band and 10c are speechless and words can not describe how awesome my poster is. They should come out and just tell everyone that the bar has been raised!!
sorry to break the bad news, but if you ordered the special edition book, you won't be getting it before christmas.
i spoke w/ someone @ ames today & he said the books were held up in customs & that they expected them to ship "over the christmas break."
i did not as about the regular edition...so i don't know if those are also being held up.
he did say the special edition book "is incredible."
ps - i told him that i'd gotten my 06 poster collection framed & asked if they would be interested in seeing pics. he said "absolutely! send 'em in!"
Customs would imply international shipping though, no?

absolutely!
anyone who possibly thinks the price for either of these books is too *much*...really isn't into art books. i don't think i've ever spent under $50 for a hardcover art book, i've even spent MORE for a softcover book at times! such books are pricey by nature, simply b/c of their production costs. $50 is a GREAt deal...and even the limited edition.....32 extra pages......mylar overlays....debossed slipcase...pricey, pricey, pricey to produce! add in the signatures and limited run, tis a great deal. that said, i don't need all those *extras* as tempting as they all sound...so the $50 version is simply perfect for me.
edit - obviously, those extras ARE too temptiing for me, i caved and bought the SE verison. eh well, i am sure to love it!
Right on! Welcome to the club!

I dunno, shipping with drainage pipe is kinda ghetto if you ask me...
I am! Only takes a few days for me to get things from them
maybe after Xmas if I got any money..
This book is not really for the non poster collector...
Who said they're shipping tomorrow? They are hoping to ship them beginning after tomorrow, but they don't know when.
"Both editions will ship after December 1. Christmas delivery not guaranteed, but we're going to give it our best shot."
