  • Man I would have expected more fans of a band that regularly covers the Dead Boys to have heard of Husker Du.

can someone explain to me why the pin says "Purl Jam"?
Its reference to Husker Du. Local band, if you haven’t listened then du. Bob Mould is great, check out his later band, Sugar.

i figured it was a local tie in but seems like a pretty obsolete tie in for a casual person
    BINGO

we have. just a bit of an obscure reference, especially on official band merch.

  • I think Mike used to wear a Husker Dü shirt some years ago… but I digress.

On the way out I asked the merch guy in the trailer if they would have Saturday’s poster this am & he said yes… also had a picture of it on his phone & gave me a peek. From what I saw, it wasn’t worth waiting in line for today… at least not w/ the hangover I’m nursing.   :D

Someone please explain why people are showing up crazy early for merch?  Is it for one items specifically?
To hang out. Meet new people. See old friends. Yeah getting the posters first is cool but real talk, being in a merch line changed my life with some of the people I’ve met.
Nobody is showing up early for that poster...

Specifically, check out the Copper Blue album by Sugar.  It is a favorite of mine.  Never got into Husker Du but Sugar is great.

no, but that event shirt had me second guessing my decision (at the time) to not do the merch line.

& FWIW, last night’s poster looks better in person. Not going to worry about tomorrow’s print tho… will take my chances here down the road.

Small amount of Saturday’s merch to be released at the merch trailer today. Apparently the Saturday poster is the “best of the tour.”

They still had lots if not most things- stickers, hats, Ts (no 2xl on some), hoodie, pullover, coozies, keychains, totes, and tons of posters. Ofc no basketball or duffel, but it couldn’t have been easier. Good luck!
