Sacramento and Vegas are still waiting for rescheduled 2022 dates. They were completely ignored for this 2023 mini tour.

So I wouldn't consider it a given that Indy will get a 2024 date. Who knows how far along in the supposed 2024 tour planning process they are. Who knows the logistics involved with that.

Even assuming Indy gets a 2024 date, all it takes is one band member getting sick and it could get postponed again. Or bad weather could cause it to get postponed.

I almost want to book multiple shows next year just as an insurance policy in case one of them gets postponed.

I'm wallowing in the moment, but... between the merch ridiculousness, show postponements, the struggle to get tickets, the shorter setlists, I wonder if it's worth the trouble anymore.

Sacramento and Vegas were canceled. They aren't getting rescheduled.  There is a difference between canceled and postponed.
All I've heard all night is how it's been postponed and they’re gonna come back and do the best show. Acting like this is different to all the shows people missed out on last summer. Postponed or cancelled makes no difference to your emotions when you at the venue and they pull the plug
When’s the last time they actually made up a cancelled show?? Raleigh is still waiting from 2016
Oakland shows...there were others I believe

They made up the canceled London 2018 show.  Change the show to the last date of the tour

That has nothing to do with our posts. We were talking about the difference between canceled vs. postponed in terms of rescheduling.

I can assure you, for myself and the many other people I met and talked to in Noblesville today, we are much happier we have tickets for a rescheduled show as opposed to not having anything to look forward too and a refund.

Canceled shows don't get made up. It was canceled. If they choose to play there again, great!  But it is a new show. Nothing to do with the canceled show.

Speculation here, but I think a big reason this one may have been postponed rather than cancelled, is they were planning on being in that part of the country next year anyways. For some of the other shows, I don't think they had any immediate plans to tour.
words seem so out of place.

  • It's been a while since I was able to type #gutted. Ended up at the bar around the corner from my house (Britton Tavern) and watched my Bears get embarrassed after merch line. Lots of PJ fans from all over the country. Actually, a really fun atmosphere for NFL since all teams practically had someone who was a fan there. We'll try again in 2024. Thankful I got to Chicago last week for a little taste. Everyone get home safe.

I think I'm done seeing them live at this point. And not just because of this show. That was kind of the final straw.
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

Yeah we hit both Chicago shows so we're glad we made that decision. I had pit tix for Noblesville so really hoping they reschedule as planned.

  • All I talked about all week was how great the weather was going to be for Pumpkins and PJ. The kicker on all of it is I skipped All IN Festival which was a monster lineup for me because of PJ and missed it all. Thankfully I have a Nugs membership and after football we couch toured the All IN show live. Lemons.

Exactly, we were all so devastated yesterday and still shaking it off this morning.  It was lining up to be a perfect day.  First time in GA and we were going to have a great spot.  Hopefully the dates work out next year to try it again.

Did anybody that stuck around for merch happen to get any extra buttons/pins they could trade?  I have 2 extra pins from Chicago N2 and looking for 2 from Noblesville.  We were going to grab merch once we got inside the venue so missed out.

Plus Jeff plays Ohana on 10/1 with Deaf Charlie. So that is absolutely not accurate.

  • PJ played three nights in a row during 2022.  Ed could pull off a low key sit down solo show and then get on a private jet.   IIf he did something like his Innings Festival set I don't think he'd be all the tired like a PJ show.

For what it is worth, I would enjoy an acoustic set at Deer Creek by the band If It meant they could pull off playing that weekend.

Yeah I stopped and talked to him in person on Saturday to ask him some questions about parking and he seemed like the kind of guy who would pull something like that to make a buck, just my impression.  The reasonable the thing to do would be to issue refunds considering he posted an event with incorrect information in it.

  • I just talked to Sleepy Bear dude...he said via email "I am not selling passes for an event that is scheduled for October 1. Yeah October 1 day is when event sales end TBA means date to be announced". I really didn't understand that response but I followed up by asking if he was basically selling spots for the PJ show reschedule date and he said yes. Although...he clearly has an option to purchase something under the heading "Pearl Jam- Camping or Tailgating October 1 @ 12:00 pm - October 2 @ 12:00 pm". He probably could have done himself some favors and not attached a date to what people were purchasing....its not like it wouldn't  sell out in 15 minutes anyway.
