I think they know the two different inventories; 10C vs TM, that doesn't change. They are going to correct senior members sitting behind newer members, is my guess. Correcting the mistake of assigning 10C seats as the process took place, not after all members are confirmed for Reserves. Or whatever the mistake was that resulted in that mixup.
Only logical way the VF sale can happen tomorrow. This makes the most sense.
I would normally 100% agree, I just feel from all the posts from people where seats were originally and where they were moved to that's it's all over the place, covering every section in the the UC that I can tell, so will be interesting. I assume/hope your're right - it is the only logical way they could do it, I just hope they have that figured out without any question or a big mess could turn into an even bigger mess.
I went from 218 (club level, Mike's side, one section from closet section to the stage, which is where my seats usually are based on history although typically 100's) and got moved to 305 (literal back corner nose bleeds), so I'm just hoping to wind up back somewhere even close to where I started.
Glad to see the seniority seating issue is being fixed.

So because we are loyal 10C members, and Ticketmaster wants to elicit the highest profits they can, prime seats are not being released to 10C members and being reserved for Ticketmaster sales which they can they control both the initial sale and any re-sale on their marketplace. I see how this works, pure corporate greed and ineptitude.

The band makes the money on the premium tickets. That's how they keep the cost at 130 base ticket pricing.

Maybe now it’s easier to understand why they don’t tour as much or don’t like touring. I wouldn’t want to deal with all the anger and bad energy that comes with this entire process.
How much of it actually makes it to them though?
I think way more than we imagine. If not then how do all these changes happen so quickly. I believe they, and especially Mr. Vedder take all this very personally. This is their livelihoods, they’ve been in control of themselves for a very long time. They recognized all the industry bullshit soon into their careers and took complete control of everything. It’s a business, not because they want it to be but just because it is. Professional Sports is a business as well. I don’t think they (PJ) let just anyone get involved their business. You can tell by the length of time their employees have been with them.
So now my seats are going to change again? I think I was one of the few people happy with my reserved seats. : (. At this point they are just pissing everyone off.

This should be the opposite. Everyone will get their seats based on their seniority. That shouldn't piss people off.

This will obviously piss people off that get downgraded though, as fair as it may be in aggregate. You don't pull the rug out on people like that. I say this very selfishly

I've already had it happen once in this process. It sucks, but getting it right is more important.

Half upgraded/half downgraded with maybe a small amount not moving much at all. All of the 10C tickets are already out and they likely are just reshuffling the winners around in their correct seniority order like it should have been from the start.

If you think about it, they found a way to get die hard fans to commit to buying seats without knowing where they will be, and then giving the majority of them sub standard seats a casual fan would never pay for. It's sort of unbelievable to think this would so easily work, but it does, because as many of us have said, "I am just happy to be in the building" ..... I mean who else would commit money to tickets without knowing where the tickets will be?

It's not ideal, but it is what it is. I'll have a worse seat than what I have now. But a lot of lower number members got worse seats than me, and that wasn't right. Hopefully, they get it fixed and we'll all be in the seats we were supposed to be in if this didn't get fucked up.
