  • As someone else already said, brokers only have a fraction of the tickets they advertise. They’re know if they can’t procure it after you order, they can just cancel the order. What is showing up on those sites says NOTHING about anything that happened with 10C ticket purchasing.
    Ok, sure
It’s indisputably true. Check, say, the first ten shady broker (the kinds people were linking to here, we’re not talking stub hub or seatgeek) website results in a google search for a hot show. You probably won’t have to even get through ten before you find more tickets listed than there are seats in the arena. Go ahead, try it.
    Ok, sure

Still trying to wrap my head around - and there will never be an answer - how folks had Reserved Chicago as a third and fourth option and got seats but many people had them as 1 or 2 and didn’t.  Mind boggling.

Since everyone was getting actual seats with their confirmation, seems unlikely to me that seniority played a role in seat location this time.
Theyd have to confirm all winners first, then organize by member number before assigning seats. They didn’t do that all at once.
Not true, my number is .+/-  309,000 I got Sec 115 Austin night 1 and G/A Pit Austin night 2, people in here posted their number was +/-500,000 and they got 200's both nights for Austin.
But there’s also plenty of posts where higher numbers got the same level as low numbers.
I have a 173XXX number and ended up in Sec 113 Night 1 in Austin. Then Sec 114 Night 2 in Austin. Surrounded by people with numbers twice as high.

    That is strange.
What row in 113?  I'm row c on the aisle with a 420xxx number for N1.  Scored GA for N2
    173,xxx and Row N of Sec 113 night 1 Austin and Row N of 114 night 2. I don't get it.

The only "variable" to make any sense of this is that I am going solo this time.  Still though, seems like you got fucked.  Hell I haven't been back this far except for Missoula and Wrigley.

It would be entirely reasonable that the first pass for each event would be drawing “Reserved Only” for seats, as some/many would have specified that option for physical/health reasons (along with the fact that —without a “GA Only” option—they’re the only ones who listed a specific preference). It’s common in this type of thing to assign the most restrictive set first. If enough people checked that option (including many who likely ALSO checked “GA/Reserved”), then there may not have been many Reserved seats left once they got to drawing Reserved seats for people who only checked “GA/Reserved” and didn’t get GA.
I like this theory (well I hate it, but it seems very plausible)
It does seem plausible, likely could have happened, but I don’t like it either.

Not to mention they got other shows on top of it. It's never going to be perfect, but it sure as hell could be less frustrating.

I chose one show because that's all I could afford. My Ten Club number is 323xxx and I ended up in well back in section 115 in Austin. I clicked the GA/reserved option for the show. Not going to complain too much. Pearl Jam hasn't been within an hour of me in nine years, and I'll be in the building for it. Though, I did have much better seats through Ten Club in 2013 when they played Dallas. Like, way better.

Results of a combination of higher demand and more members at these shows(less to choose from) and premium seats.

Yup. This is like someone in past tours pulling MSG GA after 1st priority. It just didn’t happen. If someone hits 2nd priority, ALL should it on their first.  Fair, proven and worked.

Didn't some people get Chicago with choice 2 or 3?
Yes they did. Despite being present to the forums this evening, Kat and Sea have been eerily quiet regarding our concerns. I'm not on social media, but has there been ANY clarification/insight from any of the PJ mgmt?
    Don't hold your breath, brother.

Oh, absolutely not. But somehow I am still surprised. People trying to act like the process was spelled out crystal clear is just crazy. There is not a chance I believe the spirit of this system was intended to have people getting 4, 5 or 6 shows while others are shut out completely. I'm not buying it.
