Well well well....MMJ and PJ same day? I'm only a drive away so wouldn't need to stay the night. Any thoughts on Bottlerock experiences? Worth it? My wife would like to see the other headliner Mana and MMJ.

Also, what's the setup...multi stage? Doesn't seem like a huge plot on the satellite view. MMJ/PJ wouldn't be same time right.

We've been to BR several times. Set up is OK with multiple stages that are pretty easy to bounce to and from. Lotta good food too. HOWEVER - the last time we attended it was WAAAAYYYY too crowded. Won't be going even though seeing PJ in Napa would be great.

Thanks JR. I always prefer PJ on a tour show just better all around experience as a fan but hard to pass up a fun day with several bands I want to see only an hour drive away. What do we all say - gotta see them as much as we can while we can.

Saw them at Shaky Knees a few years back. Would absolutely love to see how they’ve grown, they were great!

There are several stages so multiple bands play simultaneously, but MMJ and PJ would not play at the same time. PJ and Mana might play at the same time though, so be prepared to make a tough decision.

that's OK. the wife's seen PJ enough it'd be an allowable split for the two shows.

  • Gosh that throwback to Jan 2020…all the excitement and then the countdown whether it would happen before Covid took over the world.
I take personal blame for 2020. I booked PJ in imola and Nashville, Rolling Stones, Shaky Knees, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, Sea Hear Now. Proclaimed that 2020 was gonna be the best ever. Cut to the following week...
Your note entirely to blame, I also had Glastonbury 50th anniversary with Paul McCartney, PJ BST, Elton John at the o2, Lamb of God + power trip, Ozzy Osbourne pre parkinsons, Haley Williams solo, RATM at reading, system of a down at download.

Macca lost his voice by 2022, Power trip singer died, Ozzy got Parkinson's, Hayley never did a solo tour, RATM have never played the UK since 2010, system haven't played the UK since 2018, Elton ended up at glasto for an arguably better show. Idles never supported PJ at BST.

I'm sure there's some other I'm forgetting but 2020 was set to be a epic year for gigs and COVID full on fucked it

So I had yet to sign up for SMS notifications, I may be one of the few?  I did today though because there is no line break between stay tuned and the SMS notification update.  Have to figure that was on purpose?  I mean for Gigaton they had us looking for billboards right?

    Anyways, It could be nothing.

They have sent 2 total texts so far, one for the Last of Us Halloween t-shirt preorder and one on the day the Vs 30th reissue was in stores. I don’t know why I expected something more than marketing messages but I was pretty underwhelmed
