Assuming they'll have the F2F option again for tickets, there's always an opportunity to upgrade. Just gotta stay persistent.

That's true. My Zurich seats were OK, but the weeks leading up to the show, there loads of great seats very close to the stage available
Thanks for the heads up, I assumed they'd have a block reserved closest to the stage.

Pardon me again for my lack of experience in the Ten Club. I have been a fan since the release of "Ten" back in 92, but I entered the fan club like a month ago. How does that lottery drawing work? is there going to be pre sale option for every show? Is that like a contest or every menber can buy presale tickets? I looked to the Ticket policy section but I still dont get to understand some points.
You'll see details when they announce it but historically the broad strokes are:

    - Enter for as many shows as you want
    - Prioritize them
    - Up to 2 tickets per show
    - If you get drawn for seats, they are assigned by seniority (If you just joined Ten Club don't expect great seats)
Also, you will need to keep in mind that you will be charged for every show you get picked for - not just your first choice. So make sure you are prepared to pay for multiple shows if you put in for them and are picked for them.

In my experience, the best time to buy for domestic is typically about 2-3 months out. I find that the prices usually drop somewhat during that period. I don’t fly much internationally though, so I don’t have any insight into that.
Thanks ! I don't need international so the domestic info is great.

As someone who's had to fly to more shows than drive, I recommend booking flights 6-8 weeks out and usually the best rates to book are on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Slightly different for Euro shows, I think. Seniority doesn't really matter because its usually just lottery for GA early entry.
Unless they adopt the US approach this time.
Can anyone confirm if seniority has not been used for past European shows.  Thinking of traveling to see the band in Europe but if seniority is not used for seats, and I would like seats, then it doesn't seem worth it.  Is this because of the ticketing agents, or that the band does mostly venues with GA only?  Was hoping to use seniority to snag good seats abroad.

For vedder in 2019 I got front row and second row seats and I'd been a member for 4 years at that point.
So doubt the seniority mattered in that case.

Vedder - seats are random, no seniority
PJ - seniority does affect you seat location, got pretty much the best seats in Krakow last year with my 225xxx

however, the amount of seats for PJ is extremely limited.

The only talk was 'Who are Pearl Jam'. Most didn't know. Hilarious.  I don't know who's going to make the announcement. Its too close to.xmas imo. Tickets won't be cheap and its an unfair timing if announced this week. People have a lot.of expense this month
I’m increasingly meeting people who have never heard of PJ.  It doesn’t even surprise me any more.  But it’s such an odd thing to think about.
We hired movers to get us to our new home. One of them asked "What's a Pearl Jam", in reference to my stickers. I said "oh, its a band, they've been around since the 90s"
    "Oh, are you in it?"
    *tilts head like a dog*
Other mover: "Didnt your dad ever make you listen to Pearl Jam?"
    *knife through the heart*
Hilarious! The funniest shit always has truth in it

Its weird to know that i will be buying tickets via 10C, getting shitty seats, and then I will spend days and days seeing how better seats are available on another plataforms.

40 year old knees. And I'm 5'4, so I can't see squat unless I line up for hours ahead of time. Which I'm usually happy to do, but not if I'm travelling and in a city I want to explore ahead of time.

If one has a seat it doesn't mean they are sitting in it.  With a seat, I don't have to rush to the venue to get my spot, can leave to use the restroom or get a drink, or merch, etc. and can come back to my same spot I just left.

For long haul flights the best time to buy flights is around 10 months before date want to fly (flights are generally released 11mths in advance). Generally because more availability on the lower booking classes means getting the lowest fares the earlier you book. Traditionally January is prime for travel sale's although most airlines now start their sales before Christmas.

This is pre covid knowledge so how much has changed I dont know.

You have to log in to your 10c account and go to the 'Inside' section.
