Anyone who is trying for Manchester, I would assume it will be in the new Co-op Live Arena that is currently being built. You can join the Co-op for £1 as an anuual memebership. This gives you access to pre-sales for any shows there. At least it has for any shows already announced.seanclax said:

it worked for me for the the Smashing Pumpkins/Weezer show for next June.
Obviiously there is no guarantees Pearl Jam are playing there or if this condition will exist for their sale, but it has been an option for all shows listed there so far (including Liam Gallagher and Take That which I think will have greater demand than the Pearl Jam Show)
