Is 12/11 the rumored announcement date for just Europe, or both Europe and US?

How are the rumor antennas around the Manchester and London shows in terms of venue?  Indoor, outdoor?  GA, seated?  What are options for size venue in those areas?

Probably indoor co-op and 02 arenas, both 20k mix of GA and seated

what venue is rumored for Barcelona?
Likely Palau Sant Jordi...the other indoor arena with decent capacity is in Badalona (outside Barcelona). If is not indoors, then skip...the heat is unbearable there in summer.

What’s good to eat in Portland?
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

Moda Center seems to be the only one that makes sense.
  • Wow, the last few pages of this kinda went sideways. I wish I did have popcorn to read all of it.
As always I appreciate the rumors, hearsay, whatever we are calling it, especially from Dimi and Facemeltor (and his mom) who so kindly offer their knowledge to us.
Just booked a refundable hotel in Missoula, walking distance to the stadium/university for the 8/23 weekend, based on their intel. I am still hopeful for a Denver date so I do not have to travel (just easier on me and my life at this stage), but Missoula should be great too.
I have no inside knowledge, but I find it hard to fathom that they play in Missoula at WaGriz the weekend of 8/23. Tyler Childers is there Sat 8/24 and there have only been 5 or 6 concerts ever at WaGriz. None of those were less than 3 years apart, let alone turning then stadium around for a new act in 24 hours. Leaves two possibilities: (1) any day 8/16-8/22, or (2) Adams Center 8/23 (or any day in the week leading up). I’d lean towards WaGriz mid-week (2018 show was on a Monday). However, Adams Center not inconceivable - more “intimate” setting (like 7000 ppl), they’ve played there several times incl 2012, takes threat of wildfire smoke and any risks that poses to Ed’s voice at the start of the tour leg out of the equation…
I adjusted the dates to include the weekend prior through the following weekend 8/24. Someone wrote 8/23/23 here for a date, again, we are not sure .  They played WaGriz in 2018 and sold it out, I am leaning heavily (with no insider knowledge) on WaGriz. While you are probably correct that it will not be 8/23 at WaGriz, I cannot imagine they would play at Adams, not after 2018.

I'd put my money on "informed guess with the caveat that planned announcements are squishy and often have minor delays"

discussed above. consensus seems to be "unlikely"
  • I would reserve hotels but I don't see a reason to book flights until dates are solid.

Flights are what they are. Most of us will probably end up paying more than we want to for them. But reasonably-priced hotels located within easy walking distance from the venue? Worth their weight in gold. Book early if you can.
