2023 tour merch - You all have survived every day and probably not once thought about how much better your life would be with X city 2023 poster and sticker.   Now, knowing this, think about going to a Pearl Jam concert and sleeping in until 10am on show day, walking around the city, grabbing lunch, dinner and a few brews, and then heading into the show with no bag of merch or poster tube that you are watching like a hawk so it doesn't get stolen or damaged.    It is liberating.
When we got to Nashville, saw the line, and went directly for a Cajun Burrito at Mojos (RIP). Got a message from a friend that it had gotten more insane. Went to Bearded Iris Brewing, enjoyed some cold beers. Got to the show a smidge early, got to our section and waited in line five minutes to get everything. I felt real bad for all them folks in line all day.
I got up early that day, walked over to the venue around 9a, saw the merch line was already halfway around the building, and walked right back to my hotel. I immediately purchased tickets for the pre-show buffet that evening, which lets you into the building just before GA. We were the first people in the venue that night, and the very first people at the indoor merch booth. Got all our stuff, then went upstairs to enjoy a yummy dinner before the show.

93x has a major concert announcement tomorrow
93xrt? If so it could always be Los Lobos or Poi Dog, they consider that major.
    93x is in Minneapolis

In all fairness, Vince Neil playing Ribfest is a major concert announcement for 93x.

I think that’s be huge news, he’d eat all the ribs and what would the fans eat then?

We have woken up every day for the last two weeks thinking the announcement is that day. That said, have a great feeling about tomorrow.
I agree. It could definitely happen tomorrow. The problem is, it's never tomorrow.

As we wait for the tour announcement, can't help but look at things glass half full and be grateful I am not a Frank Ocean fan. Dude hasn't played a live show since 2017, but was the Cochella headliner.  Apparently, he showed up an hour late to his set (11pm), refused to livestream (as other acts had done) and since the curfew was midnight, he only "performed" for an hour. And by his standards, apparently "perform" means a set that included pre-recorded songs, mostly remixes, played over the speakers.

We may have to be patient waiting for the announcement, but at least they care about their fans and would never pull a garbage move like that.
I would just shout nonstop to just play Caribbean Queen.

    And yes, I know. ;)

I saw them at that festival in Louisville and thought it would be hilarious if the next album/tour they suddenly switched to sounding and looking exactly like some other band like Talking Heads or Divo.

Agree. Was supposed to go see them with my kids last year but luckily for me the show got cancelled (originally rescheduled and then eventually cancelled). Just can’t stand the singer’s voice, or him as a person actually-they’re local and i interviewed them a few times before they were big. He was obnoxious even back then, can’t imagine how bad he is now that they’ve made a name for themselves. His brothers were both pretty cool though.

I agree also. Never heard them but friends said they loved them so Bourbon and Beyond was perfect.  They were absolutely horrible.  Even my friends apologized.  Something about how different they were from before the pandemic. Don’t know if that’s true.  Did they change that much?
