I thought about that too, but Oakland Arena has a surprisingly busy late April:
    • Tue. 04/26 - RATM w/Run the Jewels N1
    • Thu. 04/28 - RATM w/Run the Jewels N2
    • Sun. 05/01 - J Balvin, the "Prince of Reggaeton"
then nothing for 13 days. Staffing & venue costs being at a premium, I put PJ at 05/02 & 05/03.
Now, I kinda HOPE I'm wrong, because Fri & Sat 04/29-30 would be great, too! You might even get a guest appearance by Tom Morello on night 1, and then he'd fly up to Tacoma for the Sat. 04/30 RATM show.
But I'm stickin' with my prediction... for now.

Not judging the band, but judging the early overall U.S. response to Covid-19 from December 2019-onward, in that the pandemic has been going on for so long, that some of the 2020 NA venues have changed names, or closed down:
    • Baltimore, Royal Farms Arena = closed (rehab)
    • OKC, Chesapeake Energy Arena = now, Paycom Center
    • Denver, Pepsi Center = now, Ball Arena
Side note, ASM Global was formed in October 2019 from the merger of AEG Facilities & SMG. ASM now makes up for more than 2/3 of the venue mgmt, of arenas on PJ's 2020 2022 NA tour. If anything else gets switched around, or cancelled under the ASM banner, look to another ASM venue as the possible make-up date/location. Not a sure thing, but more of a likelihood.

Foos hitting Merriweather on 05/16. Shouldn't impact a possible move there (East to West = 05/14?, West to East = 05/21?), but SOMEONE needs to cover The Load Out & Stay...

Where is dimi to start dropping some hints!

I did find this snippet from the Ball Arena website. Looks like one of 3 available Wednesdays in April for Denver? Or maybe they
had to enter a day of the week and month and it means nothing. Pretty interesting though. The Avalanche play the Kings on Wed. April 13th.
Interesting stuff.  I know PJ announced the tour would begin in May…

Hard to say. And although the announcement said May 2022, it's completely plausible that some dates got shuffled around even further. Hoping it's just a placeholder, but if not? Announcement day is gonna be a wild day for booking ;)

No rumors like the other thread, this is just using existing data & each venue's event calendar.

The only real wild card is Apollo, MSG, and Baltimore. If they do Baltimore at all, I think they'll switch over to the Xfinity Center, or if we're lucky, Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

There's a good chance they'll just skip Baltimore all together, in which case (refunds) they'll take a bunch of days off, or maybe play D.C. instead.

If Canada gets switched around like I think it will, I can see an MSG date being added.

Leaving this all on the page for you to decipher :-)

    05/01 - Hamilton    05/09 - Apollo     05/16 - Nashville    05/25 - Phoenix (Glendale)
    05/02 - Tronno      05/10 - MSG I      05/18 - St. Louis    05/27 - San Diego (Whale's Vagina)
    05/04 - Ottawa      05/12 - MSG II      05/20 - OKC          05/29 & 30 - LA Forum I & II
    05/05* - Quebec    05/14 - Balt./DC    05/23 - Denver      06/01 & 02 - Oakland I & II
I think they start on the west coast and go east… cutting it too close on time to have the equipment in California at the end and get it to Europe in a week or so…

I'm ok if they start west coast to east coast. Just wish they could let us know the secured dates already so we can book our vacation time off.

I have no inside info, but it *would* be a bit hypocritical for a Gigaton tour to start east and end west, no?

Yeah, it could be. But the guys' families are entrenched on the west coast, so who knows. Occasional necessary evils :(
One of the underlying currents of Gigaton to me is not so much the band preaching their green superiority, but stating WE need to get our collective shit together (themselves included).
Maybe that's why it's taken so long. They're working around other acts & venues, trying to make as little a carbon foot print as possible, and maybe we'll get something completely different. But like I said, these are just my best guesses.

But like I said, these are just my best guesses.
selfishly, I want a Vitalogy show, lol.

Maybe, but I always felt the biggest impact to the carbon footprint isn't how they tour, but it's how small the tours and how many places they don't play.  It's created a fandom that largely accepts they have to travel to see shows.  I often think the biggest carbon footprint isn't from the band and the crew, but all the fans traveling to see a show or shows.
