Knew it was coming and I could have only made the show if it was scheduled for a Saturday again, but this still stings.
I wonder if they will take care of the fans as well as they did those fans that got screwed out of the Raleigh show…..
Yeah. I’ll be shocked if anything at all comes from this once the refunds are handed out.

I'll bet if have the people on this board who are good with planning, forecasting, mapping out dates and algorithms, we'd get pretty close to some semblance of how this is going to play out.  For instance, if you look at the Ball Arena calendar in Colorado and piece it together with other rumored cities and how logistically they would travel so close to other cities, we can maybe come close to knowing a few dates for some cities, if that makes sense.  Not much yet on the Ball Arena calendar yet, but pretty sure that PJ is not playing May 12th there since someone else is booked.  :)   https://www.ballarena.com/events-tickets/calendar/

  • Sucks for sure. Was enroute when Raleigh got cancelled. Had low # 10C seats for Baltimore. Had Cincy tickets during the flood. 10% of my shows have been cancelled 😟.

Can you please tell me all the shows you have tickets to so I don;t bother?
I only put in for Bmore this go around. Will need to find a replacement once they’re announced. Unfortunately, probably won’t be 10c seats.

I bet you’ll be able to find a good pair just fine (except MSG).  The longer they wait, the less people who are able to make plans to go.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed but I wonder if our seats will be the same for the rescheduled shows? If 10c members opted for refunds will that move other members to a better spot?

Nice. $2000 Vitalogy tickets coming back to me. Do I get interest?
I wonder if you'll get the full amount back, since the large majority of that was considered a charitable donation. I spent roughly $1700 on Vitalogy tix to STL, but the tax doc I received from the Vitalogy Foundation indicated $1294 of that was the charitable donation portion. They attributed just over $400 as the actual ticket value. In that scenario, would they now refund the full amount or just the $400 ticket value? If you get the full amount back, would it have any implications for the 2020 tax year since any related tax deduction was already claimed at the time of filing?

I would say an improvement to 10C seats has a near 0% chance.  Ticketmaster will just gobble up the empty seats that they issued refunds for, offer them for exorbitant "platinum" prices, sell a few and then release the balance at a fraction of the platinum cost as the show approaches.  Rinse and repeat.

I’m wondering this same thing. Though I would hope that the Vitalogy Foundation would find something to do for us if we can’t/don’t get the donation portion refunded.

Yeah I had Raleigh and Baltimore. I'm pretty disappointed at this but not surprised since it's been so long. Kind of wish they would just schedule the show at a different venue in the DC Baltimore or NOVA area. Plenty of venues there they could fill.
Pretty lazy and annoying that they didn’t go this route. Just pick a new venue within a reasonable distance and reassign tickets. Not a big deal.

Or hell just delay the Baltimore show another year until the place reopens. I’ve waited this long, what’s another year. Ticket holders obviously don’t need or want the money as much as we just want a show. Pretty gutted.

Sorry for you guys that fought furiously on F2F to get those Baltimore tickets. Watching the triumphs and close calls was pretty exciting stuff. Hopefully they can take care of you somehow with a different venue or something else to make sure you get a show.
Yeah took quite a while for me to score tickets on F2F (and I literally jumped in the air when I finally did), but the situation is totally out of the band’s control and not their fault. Hopefully they’ll be able to schedule another show somewhere in the area this spring/fall. Also, I have no right to complain as I’m still holding on to MSG and Apollo tickets.

Is Tuesday the day?  Baltimore canceled.  Stage is now set.  Let’s go!
  • Yeah I don’t see them working with TM to get an announcement out today without announcing something else very soon. Sounds like they’re in direct communication with TM if they’re trying to work something out for those who had Baltimore tickets. Even if nothing gets done for Baltimore ticket holders, it still is good news. On the other hand, a quick one sentence statement at the end would have been appreciated….”Although we have to cancel this show, stay tuned for the rest of the rescheduled 2020 dates to be announced soon!”

Well I'm sure they're sold out. That's the major issue here. That's a show you either get tickets at the outset, or you don't get any at all. Especially with the Boston and Philly crowds likely wanting to be there.

If MSG in the spring is the only East coast date, It wouldn't surprise me to see 300+ for a single ticket just to get in the door.  The only shot at MSG I had was trading my spare Baltimore for a spare MSG, and that option is now gone.  Oh well.

Yes the StubHub prices for the MSG show were quite high back in 2020 and will probably be so again for the rescheduled show. The thing to remember about these shows is that a huge amount of the tickets were allocated to the lottery - and while obviously there are flippers with 10C accounts and members who for whatever reason will decide to sell tickets through StubHub, selling that many tickets directly to fan club members is naturally going to hold down the inventory on the secondary market.

That being said there must have been a significant number of ticket holders who have requested refunds over the last two years, and it remains to be seen what they do with those. My guess is that they’ll just throw them back up through TM either all at once or little by little.

So much has changed at ticketmaster over the past 2 years. My experience with EV tix taught the importance of patience. What happened in NJ was appalling. Just about the entire venue was platinum tickets at some point for weeks before. then all the tickets dropped in the day or two before and there were standard seats available everywhere in the building, for less than what anyone paid initially.  This will be the new norm.
