Maybe this will hold you guys and gals over. Old friend and promoter Jim Koplick, who may have been the brains for the Pearl Jam/Hartford legendary concerts over the past 10-20 years, is announcing this Thursday, February 3rd "another major headliner" for the Sound on Sound Festival in Bridgeport, CT this September. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds have already been announced.
Gotta say I love seeing the posters that do not post very often in here coming in to help squash or bring in some rumours! Adds to the community a lot nice work!

In other news, looks like Ed had quite the private show last night in NYC.
Yep. Not the first, wont be the last. There have been more EV private shows since March 2020 than updates on the postponed shows.
I guess you’re not counting the two postponed shows - and two newly announced shows - they played in 2021.
No, just counting last night and the Zoo. 2 private EV shows, one update since March 2020.

Right, but my point is that Pearl Jam actually played four shows last year. I’m not saying that’s enough or not enough or too much or whatever, but I’ve noticed this weird trend over the last week where people on this thread are acting like the band has been completely silent and inactive for going on two years.

True but that still doesn’t make up for thousands of people wondering what is going on with their tickets. And it’s just not us selfish and grumpy folk here. Just go take a look at the top comments on the PJ Facebook most recent post.
Everyone has become frustrated, and a tipping point was crossed last week when Baltimore started refunding people out of nowhere, which just made it worse

Has anyone here actually had their Baltimore tickets refunded (against their will, I don’t mean people who sought a refund and got it)? Or is it just something we’re getting second hand from Facebook?

I think it's second hand. My tickets are still in my account, with an active refund button which I don't want to hit.

Maybe I have missed this, but are ADA tickets being refunded because the new venue for this show cannot accommodate the same as the current Baltimore venue?

Even if that is the case, the fact that some people are having their tickets involuntarily refunded should be addressed by the band.
I don’t have Baltimore tickets, but if I did I would take the silence as no news is good news. Hopefully they’re working on an alternative venue and it will be announced with the rest of the tour.

I would have called the Baltimore pavilion's local phone number and talked w/customer service at this point just to see if they know anything.
That's where all this came from. Someone did just that last week and learned that the show had been cancelled, many others followed suit and shortly thereafter the venue started contacting those with ADA seating about refunds.
Not to sound insensitive but why would ADA have their refunds issued first? If it's not happening then why does the order of refunds matter? Unless something else is up....

Because many venues control their own ADA seating and luxury boxes, whereas the rest of the tickets are controlled by TicketMaster or Live Nation.
It makes sense that Baltimore would issue any refunds they need to as soon as possible. If they are closing down for a year the box office staff is probably getting laid off soon.

I do have Balto tix, and this is my feeling as well. If it was flat out cancelled, we would have heard. They're looking for a replacement venue and will offer refund or re-ticket at the new venue is my guess. Absolutely no inside info, just spit balling
What is the chance that the renovation would be at a stage in May that it would be possible to have a show, but because of construction that ADA compliance would not be possible? Ie elevators and ramps. That might explain refunding the ADA seats but not other ones. No idea if that is what is going on and would probably result in lawsuits, but it did cross my mind as I have been reading this.
