Refunds should only be issued by paper check and signed by a band member. Anything short of that is the coward's way out.

That would be a brilliant way to make money.  I’d frame it and never cash it.

Question for everyone on here who’s probably much more in the know than me. I’ve held on to two tickets for Hamilton for two years now, planned on making the drive from Chicago. Since the rescheduled date is on a Tuesday in September, it’s going to be really hard for the wife and I to make it with the kids being back in school. I put in for Nashville but feel like it will be close to impossible to get tickets for it. I don’t want to give up Hamilton if I get shut out for Nashville (I’ll try to do whatever I can to make it). However, if I DO score Nashville, Hamilton is almost definitely a no go for me. My question is how likely you all think unloading a Tuesday night Hamilton show on the F2F will be? Thanks in advance!

Well, I know there are people putting in for Hamilton, so there will be at least some interest, unless we all somehow get tickets in the lottery/presale. I think the demand from US fans will be a little diminished, as it's right after Labor Day, and schools will be starting, so travel will be limited, but there should be enough fans in the area that demand will still be there. Having the Toronto show two days later should help. I know that we weren't planning on going to Hamilton initially, as there were 6 days between the shows. Now, we're planning on spending a few days in Toronto and popping down to Hamilton if we get tix. I have to imagine we're not the only ones in this situation.
Same. We are now hoping to add Hamilton as it's two days before Toronto, which we have 10c tix for. I put in for 10c & verified and will be watching the F2F if I come up empty.

Hamilton was sold out and will likely sell out again. If they are decent seats I see no issue holding them. One thing though is US residents had a hard time getting their money selling on fan to fan for Canadian shows and the same thing happened the other way around. I hope they fixed that issue needing a local countries bank account for payment.
US bank account was required to get proceeds from a Fan to Fan sale re one of the recent EV shows so chances are the local country account requirement will stick around.

I'm looking to get one Hamilton, so if I don't get a 10C ticket, I will be looking at F2F.

  • Shocked that that’s all the new shows.
I really think they’re going to be apart of the Lolla announcement since there’s absolutely no midwest shows either that or next spring is gonna be really fun for people in the Midwest

I can't imagine that this hasn't been talked about, but this is quite a lengthy thread, so... am I seeing it correctly that the fan club lottery is only available to those individuals who requested refunds?  I did not win the lottery back in 2020, so I had no tickets to be refunded.  I'd appreciate any insight!  Thanks!

Lottery is open to anyone who was a member before the cutoff date (the 13th, I believe).

It’s open to all.  You just can’t get tickets to a show you already won tickets for in the previous lottery.  Although there is confusion about if you only won one ticket if you can put in for a second. But long story short… you can enter.

Let’s say that you didn’t try for tickets the first time around.  Now you’re trying for a show that was postponed.   Are your odds a little worse since tickets were already assigned?

Obviously hoping for tickets and for good seats but I’m trying to set my expectations   I guess I’m hoping enough people cancelled.

(trying for reserved.  We didn’t want GA).

With mobile deposit, you can still cash it, and keep the original. Win-win!

Yes, I expect very very few of us will score tix for rescheduled shows via 10C or TMVF. Which is why I grudgingly put in for Camden even though I'd much rather go to Nashville

I'd say probably, because if there were, for example, 30k trying for 15k tickets originally, you may have 15k people trying for only 2000 refunded tickets now.

I'm glad they kept the F2F feature for tickets.  Will probably be my best chance to score seats.  Not getting my hopes up with the lottery or verified fan.  I'm ready for the F5 shenanigans to return!

Yup.  This is the closest thing to the old F5, which rewarded persistence.
Wonder if the rumored add-on shows in Vegas and Denver are still in play.  Anybody have a contact in either of those places?

Let’s say that you didn’t try for tickets the first time around.  Now you’re trying for a show that was postponed.   Are your odds a little worse since tickets were already assigned?

Obviously hoping for tickets and for good seats but I’m trying to set my expectations   I guess I’m hoping enough people cancelled.

(trying for reserved.  We didn’t want GA).
I put in for the lottery and verified sale for Nashville. Hopeful, but who knows?

I'm glad they kept the F2F feature for tickets.  Will probably be my best chance to score seats.  Not getting my hopes up with the lottery or verified fan.  I'm ready for the F5 shenanigans to return!
Agreed. I don't expect there will be very many tickets up for grabs in the lottery or verified fan. I'm expecting to be F5ing on F2F constantly.
Yup.  This is the closest thing to the old F5, which rewarded persistence.
Wonder if the rumored add-on shows in Vegas and Denver are still in play.  Anybody have a contact in either of those places?

In the days of F5, I got EVERY show I wanted. Yes, sometimes it took well over an hour for a transaction to finalize, but persistence always paid off. My record in the lottery is not good. I have never been selected for a MSG show, and whenever I've gotten a Philly show, my husband also got the same show. It just caused an extra step as I'd have to rely on TM gen onsales, trades and help from friends.

Shocked that that’s all the new shows.
I really think they’re going to be apart of the Lolla announcement since there’s absolutely no midwest shows either that or next spring is gonna be really fun for people in the Midwest

St Louis and Oklahoma aren't Midwest?
You’re a Few days late here my friend. As someone else pointed out, I’ll give you Stl. Oklahoma? No

Yes, I expect very very few of us will score tix for rescheduled shows via 10C or TMVF. Which is why I grudgingly put in for Camden even though I'd much rather go to Nashville
Im pretty sure you can put in for both nashville and Camden and one won't affect the other
Right, agreed, just saying I put in for Camden in the hopes of catching a show on this run, given how unlikely it will be to score Nashville. i can't do both
