I can’t even imagine no announcement before this month’s newsletter on Thursday. Obviously it has to happen today (Tuesday) then they can sum it all up in the newsletter. Obviously. Right?

Same. Tomorrow is the 2 year anniversary of the tour postponement from 2020. I feel like it would be the perfect day for it.

One thing is looking certain. Pearl Jam taking so long to announce the tour is going to cost their fans a fortune in airline costs, with the gas prices going through the roof.
100% - I've been mum on the whole process thus far, but can say as costs are now, that WILL mean at least 1 less show for me. But hey, holding off this tour announcement helped to maximize the Eddie/Earthlings tour ticket sales.

A gamble I completely understand why they took. It just appears it may have paid as well as a Calvin Ridley $1500 bet. Too soon??

Well no, the perfect day would have been long ago so people with tickets for 2 years could make sure they had vacation and weren’t paying high prices for travel.

Hopefully this is it. Yesterday was a lot of fun right up until 1pm and then not so much.

I think it was the 2014 Mid West tour that they announced on SiriusXM PJ Radio. I remember going out to my car at 1pm for the announcement.

I just cannot see terrestrial radio stations announcing shows before PJ makes the official announcement. They might hint, but my guess is there will be a tweet, instagram, fb post, pj radio, pj site news item and an email blast.

nowadays tours are kinda just announced as a social media post with all the dates. email usually comes out around the same time and the local radio stations might announce their local show as well if it's big enough.
