I get that he might not be the most detail-oriented guy, but Ed thinking the dates had already been announced almost a month ago remains super weird. Did something change? We'll probably never know.
My prediction (and I know nothing) is that The Apollo show happens in May (and possibly MSG), the west coast shows happen along with an added show or two (Vegas), and the rest of the east coast dates are pushed to the fall, along with a few new ones. Maybe Pitt & Philly get the shows that were rumored pre-covid.
Just tell us something. Yes, May is happening, no it's not... we have lives. This is just obnoxious at this point, and very unprofessional. Even Rage TRIED to reschedule multiple times and now they're all in a year (I took the refund finally a couple weeks ago). At least it's better than nothing nothing nothing "announcement early 2022 for shows in May" nothing nothing nothing, now gonna be the middle of March.
Let's Go.

Just wait until they cancel the Europe tour because of Russia uncertainty, pull in the fall US dates and unleash a mega-NA summer tour. (hell at this rate, anything is possible)
Ohana announcement could be next week. Lolla usually announces third week of March. I think we all assumed May would be full, but maybe it’s more likely shows don’t start until mid-late May. Could be another couple weeks until an announcement in that case.
I'm starting the over/under line on how many complaint threads will get started.
I'm going with 13.5
I"ll take the under. I say there will be 2-3 threads started on the same topic where 90% of the messages will be nothing but bitching regards of the schedule, timing, etc...
Glad Vegas is 5/20 if happening. Been holding MSG tix and am busy that weekend.
What is the rumored MSG date?
I don’t think there is one. Some have speculated it will be in the fall but nobody really seems to know.

I’ve been passionately following this band for 20+ years and this is the most out of touch I have ever felt IMO. I’ve been sitting on tickets to 4 shows for over 2 years now. The no communication is beyond frustrating, it’s almost laughable at this point.

There has been communication my friend. It's posted under 'news' on the main page. Granted it's not the fully detailed communication and plans we have been wanting, but its not been 'no communication'. We all need to extend grace. It's not like they have had this fucking thing planned out and are withholding it from ticket holders on purpose. I'm sure they are aware people's plans are up in the air, perhaps other considerations take precedence above any of that and that's their choice.
I hate to be positive around here…. But I think they seem to “not care” only because they know the tour is going to be the biggest in the last 20 years and they know they are going to deliver.

They played 68+ shows in both 03 and 06. We’d be lucky they touch half that.

Well said. We should all just be thankful this band is still producing music and playing live shows at such a high level after all these years!

we can both be thankful that and still annoyed at the lack of communication. I had to use my flight credit for another trip because PJ couldn't reschedule within the nearly 2 year time frame that westjet allowed me to rebook a trip without losing the credit. and a LOT of people have been in that same boat. this isn't just run of the mill "where's my xmas single" complaining; it's a financial and logistical burden for a lot of people, and it's kinda stressful. there have been several bands that have postponed and announced and postponed and reannounced in this same time frame. Sure, postponing more than once; that's not ideal, but they still easily could have announced these shows already. they are clearly already booked. anything within the next 6 months would have to be.
are they waiting for some stupid anniversary of when they were initially postponed? what was that? march 12th? 15th? can't recall.

Agree. It’s been way too long to be understandable without another update or reason for the further delay.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Outside of a loyal 10c they are largely irrelevant if we are being honest. Getting people to want to go to the shows is pretty hard. They don't push radio songs, rarely tour, and avoid the spotlight. Not sure they have another big hyped tour again..
Which is why alienating 10c doesn't make sense at this point.
First if week of March down. 3 more weeks until mid 2022!
